If you want to install and use the Google Pay app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Google Pay for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Google Pay for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Google Pay in the search bar and press Search. Click on Google Pay application icon. A window of Google Pay on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Google Pay icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Google Pay for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Google Pay for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

I have a friend that is much less fortunate than I am and his mom lives with him so I’m trying to help them out by sending them some money I’ve dealt with google customer service for DAYS between text message email and phone calls I couldn’t get any help they just kept running me through the same process over and over asking for the same thing they also kept switching me between customer service providers I imagine to start the process over because no one wanted or maybe could fix it? So I finally gave up and went to Walmart and paid my money to them. I would suggest if you have a debit card that is also read as a credit card to not use this app because they will have no clue how to file your card in their system so you can use it. Or maybe it’s because i use a small bank I have no idea I couldn’t get any real answers from anyone this was a terribly frustrating process I’ll be trying my hardest not to use google anymore but surprise surprise they own everything and don’t care about us hey googles the new Donald trump.

Google wallet was really great, but as the adage goes, “Nothing good lasts forever.” Why Google decides to do anything they do is beyond me. Furthermore, the audacity with which they do things without the slightest regard for the users of their products, is a testament to just how little they care about us. Their sole interest is in revenue. We are unwitting revenue generators for them. WE are the PRODUCT. WE are the under-compensated revenue generators for this ugly giant. Yet they act as if it THEY who are doing US they service. Back to my original thought. Apparently, Google decided to “upgrade” its pay app. Now, instead of just clicking on the email of a recipient, you have to pick their phone numbers. SOME PEOPLE HAVE MORE THAN ONE PHONE NUMBER. This means we must either flip a coin, or dance around and write numbers down. Also, the “history” of recipients with notes has magically disappeared. This was the feature that made the app worth using. Now they’ve put guesswork into the app. What’s worst of all, is that Google ignores these reviews. Doesn’t that just make you feel valued?

I thought Google Wallet was great. It was pretty fast, free, and I was able to pay my old roommate by the flick of a finger. It wasn't too bad of an app. Until I came across a problem. I sent my significant other money to pay some of our bills. He had set up his bank account, verified it, and set his bank account to his primary method of sending and receiving money. When he got a confirmation email, it told him it was being sent to his "MasterCard." (He doesn't have a MasterCard.) We called customer service, got talked over and HUNG UP ON. The second CSR also talked over him and raised his voice. Turns out, that MasterCard was MY debit card. They tried to use the excuse that my card was the oldest method of payment (it wasn't, he had another debit card on there far older than mine), so the system chose that over his primary. The CSR argued with us. Literally argued with us about this. The funny thing is! We never physically added my card! Once, we had used my card to pay a bill within his browser. (Google Chrome.) Chrome took it upon itself to save my card info and add it to his Google Wallet account. We tried on both ends to stop the transfer, but Wallet told us it was impossible. So, I have $2,250 going out of my account for a few days to *hopefully* be returned in a timely manner BACK INTO my OWN account. How stupid is that!?
  • Stick with Venmo, Paypal or Square Cash

The incompetence of the Google Pay team I’ve been dealing with is unbelievable. I used the service once with no issues, but for over 10 DAYS I have been unable to claim $ sent to me due to an “unusual activity” error. No less than 5 times have I been assured that there is no hold or error with my account, and that the problem has been fixed. I am not even able to transfer the funds to the in-app balance nor my secondary checking account. I’ve attempted to ask if I needed to verify my identity, provide a checking account, to no avail. The money will automatically be returned to the sender in 3 days if this is not resolved. It is absolutely inexcusable that their CSR team blatantly lies and has absolutely no idea what to do when their service has hiccups. Really never would’ve expected this from a typically stellar company.

  • Seriously the worst App ever!!

If I could do zero stars I would. If you like to wait for DAYS to get your money and receive NO help from customer service, then this is the app for you! The app states that it could take 4 days to debit sender's account, but the transaction time usually takes 2-3 days. What they SHOULD say is that the TOTAL transaction time WILL take 4 business days, regardless if the sender's account was debited on the first day. Terribly slow. I'll just stick to Venmo and Zelle.

So very easy to use this app. I really think it is so much easier than using my bank’s bill pay which is already set up and ready to go. I really like this app! Marlene

  • Chat crashed and disappeared

    By App user 1012
I downloaded the app so I could use an e-gift card and while I was chatting with support about how to use it. I locked my phone and when I unlocked my phone the chat was gone, disappeared completely. Then I got a notification of a new message clicked on the notification, which brought me to the app but still no chat messages to read. Uninstalling and won’t be using.
