If you want to install and use the Target app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Target in the search bar and press Search. Click on Target application icon. A window of Target on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Online order

    By ejjcck
I placed this order yesterday, or so I thought! The way the ordering was working then I was actually worry the order was placed twice. I push the place order and it stated order placed. But I didn’t see confirmation so I pressed “place order” again. On that order I had the “Daniel Tiger throw blanket” that showed 1 left & Elmo & Cookie Monster pj’s, I went to look for confirmation in my email but it wasn’t there. I logged off thinking my order was placed but your confirmation was slow. Tonight I go online and target pops up stating another item “little tykes trampoline” was available. When I click on it I’m told a few of my items in my basket are not available and would I like to put them on a future order? Not when I thought the order was placed yesterday! I went thru the whole process AGAIN which shows my card number and press to process. THEN my order goes thru minus 2 items I wanted that were available yesterday but are no longer available today. If I could find 2 of the items I have on my order elsewhere I would have and cancelled my order with you! Whatever was wrong with your system yesterday made it so 2 items I also really wanted are not available today! This will be the last time I go online to order from target! I don’t go thru the whole process only to find out the next day something’s I thought I might get 2 of I’m now getting zero!!!
  • If you’re not using the Target app, you’re wasting money

This is one of the best shopping apps out there. It provides transparency to the consumer so you get the best available prices whether you’re shopping online or in store. If you’re shopping in store, just use the app to scan everything you put in your cart. The scanned (online) price is almost always less than the price shown at the store. For those items, you can request a price adjustment at the cashier when you’re checking out. I regularly save 10-20% every time I go to target by doing this. If you don’t want to shop in store, the in-app shopping experience is great. It tells you every offer and coupon available to you, and you can select in store pickup or drive up (if your location offers it) or shipping. The wallet feature is seamlessly integrated with your target debit or credit card. [If you don't have a target debit card but you do have a bank account, sign up for the debit card. They don’t check your credit and you get an automatic 5% off every purchase.]
  • Recent Update = UX Nightmare

    By Modern_iphoneographer
Like many others, I was a long time user of the stand-alone Cartwheel app, which I considered to have a superior UX and feature set over the brand’s flagship app — this is also why, I regrettably began using this app when it replaced the stand-alone Cartwheel app several months ago. With that said, I’ve handled that this app is focused more on online than in-store shopping, I’ve dealt with the fact that it’s UX pales in comparison to the original and tasks that once took 1-2 taps now take 3-4(or more), and I even looked past several weeks of sign-in issues during the transition period. However, with the latest update, for some reason the development team decided to add sound effects to Cartwheel user actions. This would not have been a problem if the team had been conscientious enough to allow users to disable these sound effects, however after searching within the app and the phone settings I have been unable to find a quick and easy way to do this, which quite simply is bad UX. With the variety of other options available for providing feedback after a user performs an action, I see no excuse for the development team to not allow users to disable in-app sound effects.
  • Very nice but could be even better....

    By eganmom
The new app is very nice, with Cartwheel right there. I love that I can make a shopping list and it tells me where the items are in the store and whether there is a cartwheel coupon to go with it. However a few suggestions to make it even better/easier: -make the shopping list editable so I can add to something already there or move them around -when browsing cartwheel, I'd love to be able to have the capability to not only add those items to cartwheel, but add to my shopping list from there. Seems that you can only add cartwheel items to the shopping list once you've added an item to your list, it shows you there's a cartwheel coupon, you click the little cart to see it, and there you can add to both cartwheel and the list, but then I have my generically listed item that I have to remove and the one added by cartwheel. So in essence, I want to be able to start building my shopping list from cartwheel browsing first. Aside from the above, it is overall a definite improvement and much easier to use. I love the wallet, as well!!!!

  • Convenient

    By maliammm
App is easy to use and has many useful features. Helps to have a map of the store and where to find specific items when shopping at a different Target. Also is convenient to have my RedCard connected in case I forget to bring the actual card.
  • Constant problems with RedCard CC

    By dantali0n
Every time we go to the store and attempt to use the app to pay with our target red card, we find that the app unlinked the red card credit card. Un-intuitive re-linking while everyone behind you in line gets mad is nice bonus. Cashiers aren't helpful and make you feel like a criminal when the register denies you for no reason with no helpful error. Zero stars.
  • App doesn’t link to target credit card

    By sophdr
The app never links up our card even though we’ve entered it in multiple times. It’s frustrating to try and pay in the store with the app “wallet”. We just used a different credit card to pay, completely eliminating the benefit of having a red card.
  • Lacks clarity and interactivity

    By Meecho Weeso
Straight up didn’t work at Targets self check out. The app doesn’t show itself applying the percentage discounts when you scan anything. There’s no apple wallet support. Using the app makes me want to wait and go to Target less.

  • Best app

    By MiiChYPrEmO
The fact that you can order and just drive up is a huge plus. You can look up prices by just scanning the bar code you can do a lot. Make a grocery list it will also tell you where these items are in the store.
  • Amazing App

    By 6289Lhall
I love the app because of the wallet feature and it makes checkout easy with having my red card and coupons all in one! One thing I’d like to see them add as a feature is a Price Match option so you can price match on the app as you check out... less hassle to go to a store or call customer service to get a refund.
  • Targets great but app doesn’t sync with inventory

    By ErinP-1@2@3@
Love target, the app is user friendly but often I place an order and half my stuff is canceled. It appears the app does not sync up with inventory.
  • Target Is Life

ALOOOOHA! There's a handful of people that might be able to relate to this. I'm in the store, looking for something (not really because I'm looking at everything) & need help. However, there's no one around :( is there any way to add a feature to the app that can notify a team member? Just a thought :) "please help customer on aisle A1, he/she is looking for ___ and they need a cart, please."....a cart to put in more things that we didn't go there for haha love the store and app. ;)
