If you want to install and use the Pinterest app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Pinterest for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Pinterest for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Pinterest in the search bar and press Search. Click on Pinterest application icon. A window of Pinterest on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Pinterest icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Pinterest for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Pinterest for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download Andriod, Iphone

Download APK

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • Miss the old Pinterest

    By Nik57522789
I have been on Pinterest since the beginning when it was invite only. Since that time, I have spent hours each day browsing Pinterest and truly loved the app. I HATE the recent changes implemented by Pinterest, each update is worse than the next and I have been using Pinterest less and less. I miss the old Pinterest where you would see pins posted by the people you follow. That was the whole reason I used Pinterest, to see tailored content I was interested in posted by people I followed. I also miss how you would see other boards a picture was posted to, this allowed me to find more content and users with similar tastes. Now my feed is purely ads and “picked for you” content which I am rarely interested in and/or is repetitive. Also, when I pin something my feed is then overrun by that topic. I understand the need for ads but either have an ad banner or balance the amount of ads/picked for you content with pins from the people you are following. Also hate how it does not show who posted the pin. Overall Pinterest has become very generic and I find it difficult to find unique content which was the initial purpose of using the app. I have definitely been using other apps such as Instagram instead. I hope you consider the feedback from your loyal customers because things are going downhill fast.
  • Have I reached the end of Pinterest?

    By Tl333333::
I think I've reached the end of Pinterest! I keep seeing the same content over and over again. I only follow around 3000 people's Ms follow more every week. I have 9000 followers--which my number of followers slowed down significantly when they changed the feeds and algorithms. I can no longer see the people who follow me--even though my number of followers go up, it's no longer adding profiles to the followers section. I am so sick of seeing advertisements and sponsored content that have NOTHING to do with anything that I would ever want to see from Home Depot (I think we all kinda know about Home Depot at this point) to Pantene hair commercials. The settings for automatic video play do not work. And dare I use the "show me more like this button"; CLEARLY Pinterest's taste level has a bug since it usually looks NOTHING like what I've just pinned. I preferred the only method of see who else has pinned this pinned so that you could start following others with your same taste level and subject matter. Pinterest has become almost as bad as Houzz for the masses and has become very hard to curate sophisticated collections of idea boards. I use Pinterest to work with my clients and promote my business. There are very few settings that you can change and I am so tired of seeing the same content over and over again! Oh wait, I already said that--well now you know how it feels!
  • Best thing ever

    By Rosycheeks13
Thanks to Pinterest I can express myself throughout creativity and just art boards and just all these boards that I can make and I can express myself through them I think my favorite two boards is probably my Jesus Christ one and my photography because those are two really important things in my life and this is a really great app for all ages and I do recommend it to anyone who is eligible to have it. And I first got it when I was about 11 and I just got an iPod not a phone but my parents wouldn’t let me have any kind of social media so this was kind of like a social media for me and I very much enjoyed it you can fine inappropriate things on there if you search them up I have never search them up but if you click on the wrong link or something it could lead to something so just be mindful when you have your kids on there it will ask you of like things that you’re interested in just make sure that you are looking over that because there are things on there that maybe you should look over with them other than that it’s an excellent app and in less you’re truly searching for something or you just click the wrong link you won’t find anything bad and I truly absolutely for the very last time do you recommend it to all thanks!
  • ALL Ads & Algorithm. NO (real) friends

    By Kahleelee
The Sponsored Pins are out of control. I see sponsored content more than I see my own friend’s post (and I mean face-to-face friends). On multiple occasions the sponsored posts have opened without any intentional interaction on my part; just from my scrolling through the app or when searching for something. But I have to put an effort just to see what an individual friend’s personal activity/recent pins. I feel like a creep. And now I’m getting told “Hire an interior designer from [sponsor]” when I’m just tryna look at a bookcase! That’s too far. I’ve been on Pinterest since it’s was invite only and now it’s overcrowded with multi-level marketing schemes and aggressive sponsored ads posing as real pins. I miss seeing my REAL life friend’s posts, not just what some AI algorithm thinks I want. And what’s up with the pop-up asking “did you find what you were looking for?”, why do you need an answer when I don’t even know what I was looking for? It’s just as uncomfortable as having a sales associate invading your personal space and following you around the store tryna make a sale sell when you’re just trying look around. That behavior is what keeps people from making a purchase or coming back again. Now I’m concerned with how my data is being used. Don’t pull a Facebook Pinterest, I’d hate to see you go down like them and lose the trust of your users.

  • Bring the exploring back!!

    By MealsDuke
The update that took away the “explore” option ruined Pinterest. Now I can only see a narrow stream of ideas. The whole concept was to give its users a way to see a multitude of things! No longer can I browse a broad topic, and no longer is my feed miscellaneous.
  • Glitch

    By Rosaa
When I tap the search bar to search a keyword, sometimes I accidentally tap on the camera icon which notifies me to edit my phone’s settings, but since I don’t want to edit my settings, i am unable to exit the notification to return to my main goal of searching a keyword. So then I click on “edit settings,” which launches me to the settings within my phone, but then when I return to the app, I’m still stuck in the “edit settings” notification page and can’t return to my search without reopening the app. Please fix this by adding a back button or close notification button or whatever else is necessary other than having to reopen the app. Thanks
  • Explore tab is gone

    By Jute576
I’m done with Pinterest, I’m going back to bookmarking sites in my web browser. I can’t find new pins the explore tab is gone. Where are the search catagories. My feed is filled with ads & questionable content. Every time the App is updated you take more & more of the features that drew us to the Site in the first place. Survey your users.
  • Miss the old version

    By Chibichickidee
I miss the old version with the different “discover” boards where I could look at pins in a certain genre. I miss the like feature. I hate all the ads and the inappropriate images and links. I rarely go on Pinterest anymore and I used to go on it daily. Bring back the old version and regulate the content!
  • I’m obsessed with this app

    By nimbly bimbly
This app has always been a hub for finding cute ideas for home decorating, putting together outfits, etc. but in past years, I’ve always had an excess of boards, or boards that were a little to crowded. Since the addition of the sections within boards, I’ve been able to organize my thoughts, so to speak. Love this app, it’s super helpful
  • Great full

    By betjbh
This a wonderful app, I can look for anything that I want research on, thanks!
  • Why Quick Saves

    By SillyStar2000
I like everything about Pinterest, but quick saves. If I accidentally double tap something, it automatically saves to quick saves! 😩 I honestly think Pinterest was a lot better before it! And if I accidentally click on something, more and moRE AND MORE pins show up that are like it. The “things you might like” always have NOTHING to do with things I pin. If I want to save Harry Potter stuff, Percy Jackson pins show up. I have never pinned Percy Jackson but it shows up anyway! If you could just improve quick saves and other stuff, Pinterest would be a TON better! 🙂
  • Love the site

    Enjoy the results I get
  • Pinterest

    By Popit222
Don’t like the updates, would rather have it go to pin you like without having to put up with all the extra garbage that comes up. Most of the time it won’t go to site you want
  • Great, but...

    By Manymanes
PLEASE stop the auto refresh & make it manual refresh!!!!! So annoying looking at something & if I have to exit the app, then coming back & completely losing the pins I was on, or the recipe I was making & trying to pull it up or find it again.
