Software Features and Description

1. Parents Gateway is an initiative by MOE to enable parents with Singpass to interact with schools more conveniently on administrative matters.

2. - The Parents Gateway app uses Singpass to identify parents of students in MOE schools.

3. Upon successful authentication, the connection to Singpass will be terminated and the login will henceforth be managed by the Parents Gateway app.

4. - If you choose to log out of Parents Gateway, you will stop receiving notifications for new announcements and consent forms until your next log-in.

5. We appreciate if you can share with us your feedback to help MOE enhance and improve the experience, benefiting more parents in future.

6. Parents will also be able to use this app to stay updated on school’s programme and activities.

7. The mobile app is currently only available for mainstream MOE Kindergartens, Primary schools, Secondary schools and Junior Colleges/Centralised Institute.

8. There is no risk of Singpass credentials being stolen if a user stays logged in.

9. Singpass is only used to identify and authenticate the parent.

10. The Singpass ID and the password will not be stored in the app.

Install Parents Gateway app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Parents Gateway on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Parents Gateway"
The search will reveal the Parents Gateway app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Parents Gateway is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Parents Gateway.
Now enjoy Parents Gateway on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Parents Gateway Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Parents Gateway,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Parents Gateway" » then Click "Install".
- Parents Gateway will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
