If you want to install and use the Cash App app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Cash App in the search bar and press Search. Click on Cash App application icon. A window of Cash App on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone
Free On iTunes
Download Android

  • Geniusly simple, perfect for any occasion!

    By Ajamez91
Can’t say enough good things. It’s such a simple app even my parents and grandparents can understand how it works (enough). If my kids were any older, I’d almost be afraid they’d use it too much! I use to use Venmo for everything thing from renters to gas change for carpools. I’ve had a bumpy time with them between occasional times when it just wouldn’t connect to my bank account or even respond at all, then the next day it’d be fine. To a weird identity theft issue that happened using my Facebook login for multiple apps including Venmo and thousands of dollars were laundered through my account! All these issues have since been resolved but the security aspect and intermittent bank communication issues were just too much! Now with the Cash app, I’ve referred it to colleagues, friends, family, tenets and I’ve never had issues and had the most simple time using it for a couple years now! It’s not just a simple to use app, but it’s highly convenient to have instant transfers to my bank for a few cents fee. I haven’t seen another way to instantly transfer funds like that unless the other party uses the same bank as me. All around, it doesn’t matter how old/young adept or confused you are with technology and apps, this app is the best I’ve ever used for money transfers; business or pleasure!

So when I first encountered Cashapp I thought it was the way of the future. I could transfer funds easily amongst family members and pay bills. I even had my job direct deposit my check into the account. Then my first hiccup. Seems the system shut down for the weekend and funds could not be used even if they were present. I thought let me find out what’s going on with the card. So I searched for a number to reach customer service. Found out there isn’t one. All correspondence is being done through email or text. Okay strange but maybe it was because they are a way of the future. The problem with that future is that text can often be misread or in certain cases the terminology used by email sounds robotic. So I let it pass. Just recently I was out trying to use my card when nothing would go through again. I’m checking app which is showing me there is a balance but nothing moving. Figured it was a glitch like before and I would wait. I check the app again and now it shows a new bank card number and has informed me(again by email) that my account has been closed. I still have a balance in the account but can’t retrieve it because 1 the account has been closed without warning 2 I can’t contact a customer service rep to talk about the situation. Smh. Looked up Sutton bank phone number. Nothing. Square inc phone number. Nothing. Needless to say I’m done. Moving everything over to Chime where at least I can speak to someone. Bypass CashApp and download Chime
  • Instant Vs Free

    By TryJoy26
When I first started using the app, I loved the convenience of it. However, I’ve noticed that nowadays, if I get money sent to me, the amount of time before I can get the money for free - no matter what amount - is days later than it was when I first started using the app. My sister sent me a mere $48 on a Wednesday, and I was given the free option for receiving it on Friday, or in this instance, pay a .78 fee for instant deposit. Even before this particular transaction, there have been other ‘days later’ options for receiving money or I’d have to pay the fee to get the money instantly, and it’s starting to bother me. It just makes no sense. If it was a huge amount, I could understand, but why charge an instant fee for such a small amount? And why not just offer the next business day? I think there should be a required minimum amount of money before charging for instant access, or at least offer the next business day just like other apps do, and not 2 or more days later. Maybe there’s a rhyme or reason as to how you all decide what amount gets charged a fee or not, or how long before money can be deposited, but I can’t figure it out. Before using your app, I had been using Zelle and POP Money, but I thought this was better and switched over. Maybe I made a mistake - I don’t know if it’s worth it anymore. I can only imagine the instant fees getting higher and the wait time getting longer over time.
  • Don’t download.

    By ChristinaDomanico
I hate this app. Honestly just download venmo, it’s much easier. To be honest, I only downloaded it for the $5 reward but that didn’t even work out. My friend and I sent money to each other so they would give me the reward. It had no trouble taking the money out of my checking account (since my cashapp balance was zero, having never used it) and it says that I got the reward. But it says my balance is only $5. This doesn’t add up since I’m -5 in my checking and +5 on the app. It should be +10 if it really rewarded me. I’m trying not to be frustrated over $5 but it’s so difficult to transfer to my bank account, so if anyone wants to give me cash I’ll transfer the $5 to your cashapp so I can delete mine and be done with it. Basically took $5 from my account since I can’t actually use the money on my app unless I want to pay someone through it, which I don’t since almost all my friends use venmo (for good reason). In response to the developer commenting on my review, I did do it through the link that my friend sent and followed ALL of the steps. The app even says in my notifications that both my friend and cashapp supposedly paid me, but one or the other is missing from my bank account. I did not miss a step. The fact that they acknowledged my review but didn’t acknowledge or try to figure out what happened on my account also goes to show that this app clearly doesn’t care about its consumers and would rather just put the blame on them. Deleted.

  • Deleting and trashing card! DO NOT USE

    By Nori W.
I transferred money from my bank in this card to use and it denied a small purchase while I have $80 on this card.... and if I want to put the money back in my account, they will take a “ fee” for it to be instant! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!
  • Canceling Issues

    By Williams007
Not user-friendly or streamlined as it could be when dealing with other people’s money. I canceled $205 going to my friend but instead decided to cancel to give them cash instead. No clear instructions on on what to do or what to expect when you cancel. So I see the $205 floating on top of screen. I select it and I’m taken to the “cash out” screen. I select “cash out” and now my account has an extra $205. How is that? If I cancel it should happen in real time. Now I have to ensure I don’t overspend so I don’t double-dip when Cash App or bank is looking for their funds. After this is cleared canceling Cash App and sticking with Zelle. No thank you!
  • Lost my account

    By Keriasocute
After using this app successfully for two years I signed out my account for a little bit soon as I had to sign back in it made me a whole new account I can’t even get on my old account their service is bad & I sent 5 emails they so inconsistent with the customers I’m really getting frustrated over this i don’t know if it a glitch that happen to the system or what but they are horrible
  • Don’t trust them

    By madGeorgian
They some how misplaced my funds when I cashed it out to my bank account and honestly made it seem as if they don’t care about it. The customer support people gave me bogus text book responses. My bank even told me they had no record in the system of a deposit from them. To this day money still lost in the wind
  • Cash app switches up

    By Adonnis2152
I’ve had cash app for about a year and a half. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service, there is no actual number or group of people to talk to whenever you have an issue. I recently stop being able to receive and send money from anyone. This is extremely frustrating because my mother can’t send me any money and I am a college student. One of my bank accounts is in the negative as I have overdraft protection but I am charged with a fee if I don’t pay within 24 hours and I can’t send my money to my account sooner. I really used to love this app I am extremely upset and disappointed do not download this garbage.

  • Worst money transfer app

    By Kpop girl groups
Venmo or Paypal is better than this useless app. You can’t send more than $250. They start asking for SSN et other information. No, thank you.
  • Can’t get into my account

    By Amandaafriyieb
It’s been months since I’ve been able to access my Cash App account because all of a sudden I need to be 18 to use it and I have all my information in the app. People sent me money and I can’t access it or get it back to them because I’m locked out of my account due to the sudden she requirement. This has to be fixed.
  • Cash app experience beware

    By niomimil
Cash app took $250 from me it has been over 6months and I still have not received my funds. Made a dispute with my bank and they told my bank that I still had access to my funds. Total lie and they only communicate by email which is a red flag. Every company especially dealing with money should have live customer service. I will only use Zelle in the future or Venmo.
  • I love it
