If you want to install and use the Cash App app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Cash App for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Cash App for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Cash App in the search bar and press Search. Click on Cash App application icon. A window of Cash App on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Cash App icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: Cash App for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Cash App for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Bitcoin Purchase

So I didn’t know but this app actually takes money away from you when you buy bitcoin. I had purchased $250 worth of bitcoin and gives me $247 in bitcoin . And when my bitcoin was worth $253.55 they only gave me $250.55. I’m very confused about this on the app. I had made $5.55 on somehow only made 55 cents. Also, the purchase of a bitcoin is not accurate to the chart that the app displays as a graph with the value underneath. Very disappointing.
  • Not secure! Updated.

UPDATE - 8/20/18 Square is ignoring the subpoena and is not cooperating with law enforcement. UPDATE - 8/8/18 Square responded to this review by saying my email and phone was compromised, but that’s not true. (Square has since deleted their response.) Square has suspended my account, asking me to send them a copy of my license and debit card. (They didn’t ask the criminal to verify when they allowed him to send 6 transactions from my debit card.) I sent the proof they requested and they’ve never responded. My bank told me fraud with Square Cash was common and recommended I set up a savings account just for this app. Transfer funds to the savings when you need to use Square Cash so a thief can’t spend directly from your checking. I tried linking my new savings account but Square Cash support is unresponsive. UPDATE - 6/26/18 In response to the response, my email was not compromised (also has 2SV) and my mobile did receive a code from Cash, and that’s when I knew someone was trying to use my account. Despite neither of those being compromised, the thief was still able to make 6 separate transactions. It’s a massive concern that Square Cash either has such a huge security hole and doesn’t know, or they do know and won’t admit it or fix it. Very suspicious they won’t even bother explaining how it could have happened and they literally ignore emails about the issue. I did eventually receive a response but it ended with “we don’t know how it happened” and “we can’t tell you the name of the person who did this” but they did have a name that wasn’t mine that they knew initiated the transactions. My guess is that the thief entered my debit card into his own account and Square Cash let him. Police report filed and I will find out eventually, no thanks to Square Cash. They clearly don’t care about our security or our money. Initial Review - June 2018 I had 2-step verification turned on, and one day I received a text with my login code but I wasn’t trying to log in. My bank called to tell me someone made 6 separate transactions using this Cash app. It wasn’t me. How could someone use my account like this? Square Cash customer support will not tell me, and they’ve been suspiciously quiet about something so serious. Think about it; even if someone skimmed or even stole your debit card, how would they be allowed to access your Square Cash account without having your cell phone? This should alarm everyone using this app. I’ve had to file a police report and go through the process. It’s going to take a very long time. I really enjoyed using this app over the years, but I can’t enter my new debit card if this app is so insecure. If Square could explain how this was allowed to happen and let me know they’ve fixed the security hole I’d gladly use it again, but they won’t say anything. One has to assume they know about this problem and don’t want it to be exposed.
  • Don’t use Cash App

    By 🐘❤🐘❤🐘
I had been using Cash App for 3 months when someone told me to try the Cash App card because it can be used like a debit card. So I ordered the card and it arrived in the mail, but I never used it. I just so happen to misplace my debut card and didn’t have tune to order a replacement card because I was going out of town. I pulled out the cash app card and was completely satisfied with how everything seemed to work good for the most part. My only issue was I paid two deposits to two different hotels and I never received my money back for those. I contacted cash app support and they weren’t any help. But I still continued to use the card. I had been using the card for a little over a month. All of a sudden the card is declining saying it needs to be activated. I have done everything from deleting the app and reinstalling to just simply disabling the card and trying to enable it again!! Nothing has worked. I contacted customer support the replied back asking me to submit info, but when I did they replied saying it should work but it still doesn’t. I’ve replied back twice letting them know that and still haven’t received a response back. I’m throwing this card away and getting deleting the app. RUN FAR FAR AWAY!! There is no phone number to talk to anyone, and emailing them is useless. PUT YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! DO NOT USE THIS APP!! If there’s a chance you might have issues, you will get NO help at all!!
  • Stolen money

Someone hacked my account and took 1000 dollars out and I had to wait two weeks to get it back from my bank. I was hoping this app was more secure then that sadly I was disappointed won’t be using this app anymore.

  • Awful

My card information was stolen from this app, square cash had been taking money from me, and someone was able to get a hold of my card information, now I’m having to get a new card. Square cash has yet to do anything about it, 0/10 would not recommend, everyone please be careful, oh their customer service ? Awful, they take days to respond, I don’t even know if I’ll get my money back, their security is awful, DO NOR TRUST. This has got to be the worst experience Ive had with any app.

My account was hacked and $191 is now missing there is no customer service number to call to help solve this issue. When I tried to deposit the money in my bank account it shows as a transaction but say $0. I tried to google a customer service number at first but the people who answered just stole more money. Told me to buy a $50 google play card so they can secure my account but they just took the money and deactivated my account.

Hi, I just set up my account and want to know how long the verification process takes. I would greatly appreciate a rush on mine, if possible. Thanks!
