If you want to install and use the Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker in the search bar and press Search. Click on Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker application icon. A window of Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone
Free On iTunes
Download Android

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • The app is a fixer upper

    By Angie2415
I would like to say how amazing I think this app is. But there are some things I would definitely recommend for the next update. First, I think that whenever someone replies to a comment we make we’d get a notification. I’d also think that we should be able to reply to other people’s replies. Secondly, I’d think the app would be more organized if the topics we are able to comment on are separated from the ones we can’t. I also know that there should definitely be more topics to comment on because most of the comments are irrelevant to the topic. Thirdly, I notice a lot of people encouraging the idea of having a chat room for the app, but maybe we could have more relatable topics to comment on and the option to chat with one another privately. For relatable topics the app could have teen pregnancies, friendship issues, couple issues, light periods, heavy periods, tampons, pads, and other things that could help what someone is looking for(like advice or tips). Fourthly, I think that there should definitely be a section for people of different age. I’m pretty sure if a someone either the age of 16 and up asked for advice or tips that they wouldn’t want it from someone younger and less experienced then them, but from someone who might be having the same issue or has already experienced it. These are some ideas I’d like the app to think about and consider. I hope you understand my ideas and what I’m trying to get at 😂👍
  • love it!

this app is super useful for tracking periods, and has given me mostly accurate predictions so far! it’s been off by a day or two a couple times when i first started using it because it wasn’t adjusted to my cycle yet, but since then i haven’t had any issues. i love the insights where it gives info about my period and the different changes that come along with a period, and i especially love that you can comment anonymously on posts and get help from and give help to the community. by far, my favorite thing about the Flo app is that you can have it give you reminders to drink water, take meds, and weigh yourself if that is something that you’re concerned about! the reminders are super helpful for me as my meds are for adhd, so i need a reminder so i actually remember to take them lol! the only thing that i would adjust is that my water bottle has metric markings, but i live in america, so i have to convert the metric to ounces to track my water because the only way to use metric for water is to switch the entire app over to metric. this isn’t a huge deal because google is a pretty good converter but it’s just something that i’ve noticed. overall, this is a great app and i’ve recommended it to friends and family, and now i’m recommending it to you!
  • Amazing but needs a touch.

    By simply0413
Don't get me wrong, Flo is amazing and you'll never use another app after you download this but it could use a few touches. The one idea I have isn't really important but if you want to have more fun with the app you should also have the choice of using your own photo for a background picture. Doing this would make it a little more fun along with being able to choose the color of the circles or bubbles. Also, it would be cool if people could make their own articles for everyone to read but make a separate column you can click on, incase viewers don't want to read other people's. And lastly, the articles usually talk about tampons. Not everyone wears them including me. It would be great if you could tell everyone how they work and if it hurts. I personally am really sensitive about "down there" and it would be great to know what it's like. Or even talk more about pads. Right now I read things I can on the internet and see how to insert them and everything. But I rly think sticking something up there is really nasty. Again just my opinion. But overall this game is really good. If it was just a little more fun and fit for everyone I would be giving it 5 stars. But hopefully something I said can come true. • Pretty good

The reason I downloaded this app was because I have fairly irregular periods. They have always been irregular, but I discovered that I have hypothyroidism which contributes greatly to irregular periods. I am also breastfeeding and have been breastfeeding for 18 months. I do notice that when I take my thyroid medication my periods become a lot more predictable and more normal. So, with that being said I did not expect this app to be spot on for me. I am just not one of those women who have a really predictable cycle. If you have a predictable cycle than this app will work great for you!! It tells you ovulation days so you can try (or avoid) getting pregnant. It reminds you when your period is due which is nice. Since my periods aren’t regular it took about 4-6 cycles to actually get the app to correctly predict my periods which is understandable. It’s important to log all your symptoms because that’s how it tells which phase you are in. This month it said I was supposed to start, but when I updated my symptoms, it changed the date I was due for my period. My period actually came 3 days before it was “due” but still, that’s pretty good guessing with someone who has irregular cycles. I do also love that they have articles you can read that educate you about your body. 4.5 stars.

  • Lost A Customer

This has been my go to app for tracking my cycle and getting insights. However, with this new update and premium option, I can’t read certain articles unless I now pay for the app..... Guess I will be finding another app because the articles were almost my main reason for the app.... Lost a customer.... I shouldn’t have to pay to read.
  • Reason and suggestions

    By Kimmy-t
The reason I downloaded this app was because I have been ttc for almost a year and I wanted something that I could keep track of sex, period, symptoms stuff like that’s. I suggest more options for symptoms maybe where we can input our own. Also maybe symptoms for morning/noon/night because idk about anyone else but my mood changes through out the day. Also maybe an chat area for age groups or reasons for downloading the app.

  • Amazing BUT

I’ve been using this app for over year is amazing, it’s informative and very good with predicting the cycle. Could set up reminders for birth control, add any symptoms or activities. Like I mentioned I have been using this app for a while, it used to have the ability to have comments and read others experiences or problems. Wish you could bring it back.
  • Great way to track your periods !

I so appreciate having a simple app to track my periods ! I am pre-menopausal so my periods r sporadic. Thank you Flo!
  • Not free

    By Gtggtgtgtg
There’s a 7 day free trial and then you have to pay for it. Ummm. I can track my cycle for free in my calendar. I don’t see the point of paying for something that just tracks my cycles. I only downloaded it because I heard on Facebook there was a free cycle app. Since mine are so spaced out, I figured I’d keep track of them with an app instead of my calendar. I track my daughters cycles as well. So I type in menstrual cycle tracker. This one came up. It’s pretty and pink so why not? Why not is you have to pay for it. No thanks!
