Install ModbusClient app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ModbusClient"
The search will reveal the ModbusClient app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ModbusClient is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ModbusClient.
Now enjoy ModbusClient on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use ModbusClient,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ModbusClient" » then Click "Install".
- ModbusClient will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app works very well for Modbus/IP. I suggest that the authors expand its capabilities to also support Modbus/RTU.
They don't say much about their product

I will have to rate on the high side since they don't say what their product will do and it does about that. A hint, don't forget to offset your number by one. Only one number will be read at a time. This routine will send out the basic modbus commands. There is Onother product that will do more of what one actually wants. To request help, you have to join their online support and sign away your life's history away along with all your friends and acquaintances. I think this might be a front to force tekkies to join social media. The software is lean, clean and after much guessing does function as stated.
