Install Modbus Server Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Modbus Server Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Modbus Server Pro"
- The search will reveal the Modbus Server Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Modbus Server Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Modbus Server Pro.
- Now enjoy Modbus Server Pro on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Modbus Server Pro Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Modbus Server Pro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Modbus Server Pro" » then Click "Install".
- Modbus Server Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Gets the job done

Good enough as a basic the app testing tool. It allows you to create both the app TCP and the app RTU Servers, and both funciton as expected. There is a nice data log that will show the network traffic. Adding registers manually is a bit of a pain, but there is an option to auto add registers with a default value on read/write from the client. Would like to see the ability to assign labels to registers.

Does not work well….at least in 10.11.3

After downloading and trying the app Server (free) and learning it does not work in 10.11.3, I read the info on the Pro version and it indicates it works “10.6 or later.” So, I spent the $3.99 and have wasted a ton of time (and $3.99) trying to figure out how to create 8 input registers. There appears to be no way to (easily?) create and load 8 input registers. I can’t even create and load 8 holding registers. The server does start up and responds to inquiries. However, it’s basically worthless to me unless someone can tell me how to create the additional registers I need to simulate the device for which I’m writing an interface.
The help tool is nicely done, but is of little value, at least with regard to my needs.
I would even be happy to hack the .mbs file that holds the register settings if that information was provided.
