Install iControlAV2013 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iControlAV2013 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iControlAV2013"
The search will reveal the iControlAV2013 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iControlAV2013 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iControlAV2013.
Now enjoy iControlAV2013 on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iControlAV2013,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iControlAV2013" » then Click "Install".
- iControlAV2013 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Purchased my receiver for the app.

I was researching receivers for our new media room. These days connectivity to mobile devices are an important part controlling the unit. Pioneer had the best application hands down so I purchased Pioneer. Our new Pioneer receiver is a very good piece of equipment and the app really works great. The only thing that bothered me a bit is that our favorite radio stations aren't on the list under internet radio. None of them. Wish there was a way to add internet stations. Perhaps on the next update.

The app is great, works with my 1223 AV but my fear is 2014 will bring a new app from Pioneer and leave me in the past. There are some bugs that need to be fixed. For example Pandora, it doesn't refresh and need to switch inputs then go back to Pandora for the in app controls to work. Pioneer needs to learn to update and fix their apps rather then start from scratch every new year. When you spend $1k on a receiver you expect it to have some shelf life and keep up with Denon and Marantz. **update** I've had this app for a while and not 1 single update. I mean are you kidding? Pioneer, welcome to iOS 8, it's time for an update. Support your products I'm sick of rebooting your app for Pandora. I can no longer recommend your AV as an alternative to Sonos. Wake up Pioneer before it's too late.

I have been using this app for a week now mostly to change inputs from the second HDMI out port on my VSX-1123k and it is great. I don't need to run an IR cable from downstairs to upstairs it does everything I need from the app. Being able to label inputs direct from the app is also great. Hopefully Pioneer will continue to update the app in 2014.
Help with Error

I have had the same problem occasionally not being able to connect my iPod or iPhone. I tried deleting and uploading the 2013 app multiple times. I have had success unplugging the receiver for 30 seconds. I like being able to change volume and balance thru my PDAs
