Download and install the Pioneer ControlApp app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Pioneer ControlApp on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pioneer ControlApp"
- The search will reveal the Pioneer ControlApp app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Pioneer ControlApp is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pioneer ControlApp.
- Now enjoy Pioneer ControlApp on PC.
- Using Pioneer ControlApp on Mac OS:

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Pioneer ControlApp:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Pioneer ControlApp" » Click "Install" to install Pioneer ControlApp
- Pioneer ControlApp will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Should've bought a Sonos

Bought the A3 wireless years ago for the brand, the quality and the fact that it's somewhat water/weatherproof and good for parties. The app has never been a work of art though. Now however they've broken the Pandora link and the app is virtually useless. Thanks. I did some research and it looks like Pandora changed some things with their updates and the app/onkyo/whoever can't figure it out-especially for older product(over 2years) We use a block rocker for pool parties now!!!

October update...where was the Q.A.?

the app A4 is a remarkable speaker and not sure why it was pulled from the market. The software for this speaker must be using developers studying Programming for Dummies as their latest update completely broke the app that is used most; Pandora. Its hard to understand why a "previous version" or fix was not made available immediately after the October release. It's been 2 months and nothing from the app. This app doesn't deserve 1 star.

This will be my last pioneer.

I have a supported receiver that should be working with this up. It’s concrete properly to home network and function as it should. The app would not recognize this device no matter what I do. I even run factory reset but nothing solves the problem. Limited to no information about how to fix it not to mention no one to talk to. This will be my last the app.

Why would a company risk its name and reputation putting out software like this that does NOT work? The bigger question, why don’t they at least try to fix the errors and retain customers instead of having us look at other brands when the time comes.
I just don’t get it and you can bet the app won’t be getting another red cent out of me and anyone else I can influence.
