Software Features and Description

1. Please read the information displayed when pressing the Help button on the toolbar to configure your routers to export Netflow information.

2. It is intended for use by network administrators that need quick access to exported Netflow information while troubleshooting.

3. Simply configure your router to export NetFlow and start the app up and it will tell you what's flowing through the router now.

4. Tables of information displayed include Top Talkers, Top Receivers and the Latest 1000 flows as seen by the router.

5. NOTE: FlowStats version 1.0 does not support Netflow version 9.

6. *** This application supports Netflow only, which is generally only supported by Cisco routers and switches.

7. It currently understands and parses Netflow version 1 and version 5 packets.

8. FlowStats is a Netflow collector.

9. It can help pinpoint troublesome hosts as well as help with capacity planning.

10. It will not work with SOHO-type routers like Linksys, D-Link, Airport, etc.

Install FlowStats app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FlowStats"
The search will reveal the FlowStats app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FlowStats is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FlowStats.
Now enjoy FlowStats on PC.

Works partly

This does work well with v5, and even attempts to work with v9. The only issue so far, is that whenever you try to enable the “resolve ip addresses to host names”, it kinda buggers up until you disable the option. Make this work, and I’ll give it 5 stars.
Works with DD-WRT’s RFlow

I can confirm this app works with DD-WRT’s RFlow. I’d give it 5 stars if the data persisted across reboots. This app is mentioned in the "Identify bandwidth hog” post of the For Make Benefit blog.
Simple and Works great for a quick chart of netflow data

Great Application!!! for network visability with a network that supports netflow!! I used this with flow-tools to capture netflow information and then resend to this app only the filtered data and timespan I want to see traffic detail. Resolve IPs, blanks charts for me. Feature request - Top Services lists conversations twice by matching on source and destination port -- would like 3 check boxes on Top Services chart ---- Include sending services (ports) ---- Include receiving services (ports) ---- limit to well known services (port 1023 and below)

Nice small app but works well. Does the job and meet my expectations. The only missing parts are pie and other charts. Thank you for this app.
