  1. To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
    • Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

    • Login to the PlayStore we just installed
    • Search for "Personal Training Coach" » then Click "Install".

  • Granular but buggy

    I paid for the full version and love how granular you can be when choosing your workout and all the different options available. This app definitely has potential, there are just some bugs when inputting weights and what it calculates for completing a training program. I'm doing the Wendler 5/3/1 with modifications to the assistance lifts. I inputted my 1rm for all the major lifts when I started the program, but it spit out some random number instead. My Max for squat was 455 lbs for 3 reps. That's a 1rm of about 500 lbs. For Wendler you use 90% of your 1rm, which would be 450 lbs. For the first workout day you would complete sets of 5 at 65%, 75% and 85%. Which should have been about 295, 340 and 385 respectively. The app gave me 265, 305 and 345...huh? That would make for about a 455 Max, not 90% of my 1rm. I did the workout without realizing the issue, and then afterwards I had to fiddle around with the app, delete the workouts, and re-input my starting weights. This time I calculated my 90% 1rm weight and input that instead, it seems to have worked, and now all of my weights are correct. I'm going to keep using the app because I like the setup and interface, let's just hope there are no more issues.

    I’ve been using this app for the past 6 months and as a novice lifter it has simplified working out for me so much. It’s graphs make it easy to look and appreciate my progress and all the functions of the actual workouts from adjusting weights to it giving you your plates take the focus away from doing math and let me focus on my workout. Additionally, I had an issue and emailed support. The reply was extremely quick and my issue was resolved in less than an hour. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the service. TLDR: Get the app, buy pro, and enjoy this awesome and functional app!

    I’m following the reddit r/fitness program advice of Phrak’s GSLP for 3 months, then 5/3/1 for Beginners for 6 months. This app made Phrak’s a snap, then seamlessly transitioned to 5/3/1 (automatically calculated my training maxes) when I was ready. The developer is super responsive and this app is a beast that has it all: customization, plate calculations, timers, warmups, even exercise demos. Surprised more people aren’t aware of it. I’m planning on sticking with this app when I eventually transition to more advanced 5/3/1 routines. To the developer: can’t wait to be able to customize the baked in workout routines!
  • Best weight lifting app!

    I looked at 10+ apps and this one is by far the best. I am coming from StrongLifts which I also paid for because it was so great. I was ready to move to a PPL and wanted an app I could customize. This emulates all that is so great app the StrongLifts app but allows for customization. Also the one time flat fee is fair and I don’t have to worry about one more subscription in my life. Oh and I had a small bug issue and I was able to email the developer and get it fixed quickly. Stop thinking. Just buy it. And get back to lifting!
