Install Autodesk ReCap Pro for mobile app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Autodesk ReCap Pro"
The search will reveal the Autodesk ReCap Pro for mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Autodesk ReCap Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Autodesk ReCap Pro.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Seems to do the job

App works fine with the Blk and allows me to scan review and markup the files right on the iPad. The only issue is that I am unable to multi task and switch to other tasks while scanning. If I switch applications the app loses connection with the blk and have to restart the scan. That would be the only issue. Otherwise integration with desktop Recap pro is seamless. Please fix the multitasking issue!

The whole point of leica and the app teaming up was to create a great device with software to back it up. Unfortunately, they have failed. Mechanically speaking the scanner works, HDR produces a noise for the entire bottom half of my image sphere and in standard pic mode there are black “wedges” in my image spheres from time to time. Other than that it scans as advertised. Recap Pro when it works...great. Problem is it rarely does! There are so many glitches and crashes that it does not deserve the title pro, rather beta. I want my money back.

I’m giving 1 star because of the multiple glitches while scanning with the BLK360. Large dark areas in photos. Also crashes when multitasking. Loses connection all the time. Importing scans are not always added to project folder. Please fix.
