Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "My SmartCam"
The search will reveal the My SmartCam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once My SmartCam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including My SmartCam.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use My SmartCam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "My SmartCam" » then Click "Install".
- My SmartCam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

The app doesn't work well AT ALL.

I bought this camera and app to use as a baby monitor but it's not effective at all. The app is only actually live for a few minutes, then it goes offline. I have to kill the app and go back into it to get it to work for another few minutes. The sound is also terrible. I can't hear any thing that is going on in the room that it's in - even if the baby is crying. This cam was expensive and it's essentially useless at this time. I attached it to the app wall for apparently no reason because it doesn't work well. Please improve this app!!! If it gets updated and actually works, this would get 5 stars.
No Longer Works - Why??

I have used this camera and app for over a year with no issues. Suddenly yesterday, the app stored user name and password no longer work. I can't create a NEW user name and password, because I don't meet the criteria apparently (although instructions for the password conventions are never given!!!) I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, still no luck. I'm going out of town in the morning and want to be able to keep an eye on things when the house sitter isn't available, and now I can't - very, very frustrated and angry over this. Give me the app camera access back please!
Stopped working

This application stopped letting me log in to view the app camera. I tried clicking the forgot password link. It asked me to enter the app email so it could send me a new login. I did but never received a new login. Tried reloading the app. Nothing worked. Sharper Image customer support (they manufacture the camera) said they have been having an issue with the app. No solution. This is a worthless app and without it the app camera is also an expensive paperweight.. The link to report a problem send you to a website written in Chinese. Not helpful.

App software written with bad english and doesn't allow login credentials despite them having worked for over a month. They simply wash you from their network after a month of functionality, so it appears you are to blame China. The land that poisoned babies for profit brings us this fetid copy of the (nest brand design much more expensive). I am the moron here. Should have never bought it We patronize the cheaper products they flood our USA market with, I was so enraged at this pos I took hammer and smashed it. built by slaves and gets a zero for functionality.
