Install iWriter Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iWriter Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iWriter Pro"
The search will reveal the iWriter Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iWriter Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iWriter Pro.
Now enjoy iWriter Pro on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iWriter Pro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iWriter Pro" » then Click "Install".
- iWriter Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Would be great, with some improvements

I had to let my previous markup app go, b/c I moved up to macOS Catalina, which is 64 bit. There are 3 problems with this app that slow down my productivity. 1) I need an app that recognizes URL syntax, and automatically makes it clickable in documents. 2) Every time I open 1Write I am searching for a document to read or edit. However, 1Writer's default is to search the entire computer, rather that the designated file folder of my docs. Having to click the name of that folder after attempting a search is an unnecessary step. It would also be helpful if the app would automatically reveal documents as you type the letters you are searching for (live search). 3) I am often moving from one document to another, and therefore want 1Writer to remain on the screen when I exit a document. It is a pain that every time I exit a document, I have to bring 1Writer up again. There should be an preference option to keep it on the screen in the background while editing a document. I do think this app can be very useful with these improvements.

One thing I would recommend is LaTex support for writing math formulas. I would certainly buy the iOS version if there was LaTex support. Great app!
Missing basic functionality

You'd expect that ⌘- would decrease the font size like it's supposed to, but it doesn't, and there isn't a way to decrease it in the app menu either. That's too bad since I was looking forward to using this in conjunction with its Latex support.
Great basic writing program

So far I like this writing program. I use it mainly to draft projects out. I used use Ulysses for this, but when it went to subscription-based, they lost me. I was looking for another program to replace this program I like a text editor to work out ideas and first drafts and iwriterPro does this well enough. It is easy to organize and syncs across all devices — a huge help to me since I am rarely at home to work on the desktop and generally use an ipad pro. It has a file system that works somewhat like Apple Notes and is a huge help for me. I also like how it has different colors for page color and you can also adjust the text size as well as the font. All-in-all, this is a great basic writing program that works for what I need it for. I’m glad I found it.
