Install iWriter app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iWriter on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iWriter"
The search will reveal the iWriter app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iWriter is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iWriter.
Now enjoy iWriter on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iWriter,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iWriter" » then Click "Install".
- iWriter will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Simple and easy to use

- Can create word documents and folders

- Can rename documents and easily email or Dropbox them

- Has a few font options

- Works well for note-taking and writing

☹ Cons:

- Cannot rename folders after they have been named

- Lacks formatting options like bold, italicize, and underline

- Cannot add pictures for document covers

- Can be less responsive with longer documents

- Dropbox syncing can be inconvenient

- Indentation can be too far and distracting.

Great. My go-to app! (One feature missing)

3 months ago this app unusable, but I kept it because I hoped it would eventually get fixed. I had hopes that it would become my go-to writing app. The bugs have been squashed and it works wonderfully. Simple, sleek, and almost painless. My one gripe is one of convenience. I rely heavily on dropbox or box cloud storage, and unfortunately it is a major hang up having to pause and save and save and re-save instead of simply syncing from the external file. Maybe this isn't even up to the this app team, but an obstacle from the external storage provider. That aside, great app. Highly recommended

Its fairly simple app. You can create a word doc as well as folders and of course move the docs in and out of the folders. you can rename docs but just cant rename folder after you named it. You have a few fonts, times roman of course plus several others. You can easily email a doc or drop box it. Thats really about all i saw, like i said, simple but works for me! Think of it as a word doc minus the extras with a filing cabinet. Peace!

Simple and elegant. I appreciate the fact that the program is not loaded down with useless features. I have noticed that with longer docs it tends to be less responsive (although the doc I tested was admittedly 90,000 words). White text on black screen and full screen mode are wonderful. I would give five stars/pay more for 1) a tab that does not indent so far. Two or three spaces is fine, but a nine space indent is distracting! 2) larger fonts sizes (one or two more would be nice). Please add 2) and fix 1). Keep up the good work!

This is one of the best apps to use for writing. Whether it is for notes, writing a novel, etc. This is a great app for it all. But, even the best things can use some improvements. If you could think of adding in the future a "bold, italicize, underline" option and a picture for the cover of your documents. Other than that, this app is wonderful. It's clean and sleek, and isn't distracting.
