Software Features and Description

1. Dropshelf makes it easy to drag items between windows, tabs, full screen apps and spaces.

2. Please note: files dropped on a shelf are stored by reference and continue to reside in their original file system location.

3. Dropshelf is integrated with OS X in several more thoughtful, workflow-enhancing ways — check out the User Guide for some tricks and tips.

4. Drop files, images, text and links — whatever you want to keep handy, or move from one place to another.

5. Create shelves wherever there is space at the edge of the screen, including on multiple monitors.

6. Drag anything to the edge of the screen, and a shelf slides out.

7. Dropshelf is a place to put things.

8. Thus, Dropshelf cannot be used to "declutter" you desktop.

Install Dropshelf app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Dropshelf"
The search will reveal the Dropshelf app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Dropshelf is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Dropshelf.
Now enjoy Dropshelf on PC.

Can’t work without it

Moving files from one directory to another, or into an app, e.g., from Photos to an email message: drag 1, drag 2, done! Also their Popclip is an essential for me.
Love it, but I have an issue

I use this app for pulling images off the internet and then pulling them into programs. It’s great but there is one glitch for me. When I hook my laptop to my 27” monitor, little slivers of shelves appear in the workspace of my screen rather than at the edges. Would love a solution.

Excellent for organizing those picture folders

I have a couple of folders with pictures of all types, literally hundreds, of everything from family pictures to more questionable content. Organization was impossible with my 30 second attention span. With this app, I could just shuttle pictures to the sides into their own shelves, without having to create a bunch of folders before I needed to. Better yet, I didn’t have to finish the entire project in one go, because this app kept them for a while (though I don’t know how long it would actually hold them. For me, it was the perfect assistance, like having an extra 3 pairs of hands, to organize my picture folders.
