Install WPS-DVR app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WPS-DVR on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WPS-DVR"
- The search will reveal the WPS-DVR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once WPS-DVR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WPS-DVR.
- Now enjoy WPS-DVR on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native WPS-DVR Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use WPS-DVR,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "WPS-DVR" » then Click "Install".
- WPS-DVR will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Has worked well for three years but time to update

I've been using this app for three years now and it has always worked very well. From reading the other reviews, I believe the key was that I had a professional set up the app as well as the camera system itself. I give it only four stars because the app has not been updated since 2014 (Wirepath if you need someone to update the app, contact me. My son-in-law could probably do it in about an hour and a half 😉). I recently had a different professional add a new camera made by another manufacturer to the system and it works flawlessly with the old system and with this app.

This app is the most un user-friendly app I've ever used, and it NEVER works!! I feel like I literally have no control over my own home surveillance and that is just ridiculous. I should be able to change my password anytime I want without screwing up the entire system. We paid a lot of money for, what is my understanding, top-of-the-line equipment, yet it's all completely useless without the app...The app that never works!! Not to mention that the few times it does work, I am never able to go back more than 12 hrs to review footage. Even though I purchased an additional external hard drive to backup data... Save your money people!!!!!

This is the very best app out for watching analog cameras from your mobile device! No I don't work for them either! All you people complaining, it's user error! Don't bash a company because you don't have your settings right! I install cameras every day and no other app will compare to this app!

Not reliable or user friendly- needs update to work

We own a 5 year old smart home and have outdoor surveillance however the app only sometimes works. It actually stopped working altogether because the developer is not updating it to work with iOS updates. Extremely frustrating considering we added indoor surveillance by using VimTag do it yourself cameras and they consistently work.
