  • Getting Started

    By ArtOfWarfare (Pcmac user)

It wasn’t at all obvious to me how to get started with this application. I suspect the 1 star reviews came from people who gave up trying to figure it out faster than me. When you first launch the app, a “help” window will open up. It’s basically a manual. Helpful if you’re already familiar with the basics and want to know the more advanced. Useless if you don’t know the basics. So just close that. It’ll automatically insert a tiny application icon (the A shape) all the way in the top right corner of the screen. To the left of spotlight and notification center, but to the right of the date and time. Click on that icon, then go into the this app submenu (it’s the first option in the main menu that drops down from the A.) Pick Preferences. Bam. It should be obvious how to use from this point. Seems to work as advertised to me, once you figure that out.
  • Works perfectly

It puts my apps in the Menubar, and it’s free. Does exactly what I want, and it’s free! My only request is that they improve the menubar icon, it’s not retina and looks bad. For those of you needing help making your own custom (user-defined) folder: To find the Library/Application Support/this app/custom folder, click on Finder, then select “go” in the menubar. Now press and hold the option key. You’ll see the library folder and you can drill down from there. Any apps (or aliases) you put in there will show up in this app. Make sure you have “user-defined” selected in this app preferences. The only way I can make this easier is if I come to your house and do it for you.
  • Exactly what I wanted

    By AzadelKhan (Pcmac user)

I was looking for something to help me put an app that I really like to use in my menubar , or right next to it. This app does that perfectly. The best part of the app is the user-defined option. If you get this app take the time to read the “read me” file and setup the application. I originally blew this app off because i didnt get it in 10 seconds. Well 10 more seconds or reading and playing with it, I got exactly what I want. Thank you guy for an awesome free app.
  • The Second Coming!

    By Jophan (Pcmac user)

Of the classic Apple Menu, that is. This app is a godsend for any longtime Mac user who misses the old Apple Menu. It allows you to take the Application, Documents, and Downloads folders out of your Dock and access their contents just as quickly from this app’s handy little menulet at the top of the screen. Even if you’re a new Mac user, give this little gem a try and you’ll quickly wonder how you lived without it. I have two wishes. The first is for “Recent Apps” and “Recent Documents” folders. The second is for the option of having this app’s menulet(s) appear on the left end of the menubar instead of the right. That would really be rocking it old school. Thanks Devon!
