2. You’ll then be able to view the live images of your iPhone’s camera in Visualizer.

3. *If you’re using your iPhone in conjunction with Visualizer on an iOS or macOS device, you do not need to connect them to the same wireless network.

4. Use it as a standalone app to view and adjust live images captured by your iPhone’s camera.

5. iDocCam is an app that allows you to control your iPhone’s camera in real-time, and even turn it into a document camera for large-screen projection.

6. After that, choose your iPhone as the camera source in Visualizer.

7. You can then control and adjust the live images using Visualizer.

8. Then, connect your iPhone to an external display via HDMI/VGA via a Lightning to HDMI/VGA adapter, or AirPlay (using Apple TV).

9. Connect your iPhone and your device to the same wireless network.

10. Launch iDocCam and Visualizer respectively*.

Install iDocCam app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iDocCam on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iDocCam"
The search will reveal the iDocCam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iDocCam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iDocCam.
Now enjoy iDocCam on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native iDocCam Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iDocCam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iDocCam" » then Click "Install".
- iDocCam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Upgrade problems

Apparently my free usage time is done. Trying to subscribe to a plan and keep getting error reports. Frustrating when you are willing and trying to pay to use and app you really like and it won’t accept the payment. Until then I would have highly recommended the app to fellow virtual educators.
Cannot purchase subscription.

I would give 5 stars but... I used this app for one day and it was great. Today, it won’t open unless I pay for a subscription, and I’m happy buy it for a couple of months for school, but the app keeps giving me an error message. Please fix this so I can subscribe and use the app for my classes. Thanks!
iDocCam app is awesome

Try the IPEVO document camera app. Used it today in a zoom tutoring session with a student. g Very easy to use and if you use the IPEVO visualizer software with the do cam app you can use your smart phone as a doc camera. WoW! Thanks IPEVO
Freezing up

The Visualizer program freezes with Windows 10 and doesn’t recognize the phone. It worked after multiple tries but then stopped working. I’m a teacher and I was hoping to show assignments to my students on Zoom but I’m disappointed. I would like a refund. I only bought this because my school has purchased IPEVO products.
