Install WeTap! for Belkin WeMo app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WeTap! on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WeTap!"
- The search will reveal the WeTap! for Belkin WeMo app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once WeTap! is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WeTap!.
- Now enjoy WeTap! on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use WeTap!,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "WeTap!" » then Click "Install".
- WeTap! for Belkin WeMo will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Useful and convenient

It really is a useful app that works with Apple Watch or iPhone! They send out regular updates to fix bug issues. It is not perfect and they are still working on improvements. Whenever it freezes up, I double click the home key on my phone, and swipe away all open apps. Then I go into Settings (gear), Safari, and tap on Clear cookies and history. It usually works after that. If not, then after doing all that, power off the phone with the red slider and reboot. Also, Quickswitch is an app from another company that is made for Wemo, Belkin, and this app. It is easy to setup and seems to work better. I love being able to control switches this way! We have security alarm components and lights that we control with Wemo. Love it but it has some issues.

This app works exactly as I wanted it to.
In my case, I wanted the ability to control a wemo outlet, but the Home app on my Apple watch wouldn’t pick up wemo. This app connected those two points for me, so now my the home app on my watch can toggle my device. It’s has improved my quality of life.
