Install WorkDone app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WorkDone on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WorkDone"

Handy, but links don’t open

Thanks, I like this. I’ve been wanting to be able to treat Workflowy as a separate app without keeping a second browser open.
Two problems:
• clicking on links doesn’t open them
• opening the window w/ a hotkey doesn’t set the focus to workflowy. I have to reach for the mouse to actually use it.
One feature request:
• I want the window to open on the right side of my screen. I moved the menubar icon as far right as I could, but it’s still an inch away from the edge.

Five stars once the task bar functionality is restored

I’ve been using what I guess is now this app for about a year now. It used to be pretty much perfect: I could bring it up and close it with a convenient keyboard shortcut, and it stayed open on all my desktops as I swiped between them.
It’s really irritating now. It still does a great job of letting you use Workflowy, but it doesn’t stay front and center on my desktops, I can’t close the window with a keyboard shortcut anymore, and it doesn’t pop up predictably at the top of my screen. I’m not sure why the developer broke it like this; the app is now worse than just keeping a browser window open. I hope this is resolved soon!

A nice way to get Workflowy out of a mess of browser tabs.

I started using Workflowy to manage my GTD system this year, and it’s working well for me other than the fact that I usually have too many browser tabs open. This app solves that problem, keeping it on the task bar is very convenient. I like that the window is resizeable, and that I can have it in the dock if I want to. I haven’t noticed the problem described by users of the previous version.
The only thing I don’t like is that if I put a web link in a note, I can’t launch it from the app. I have to copy the link and paste it into my browser manually. I was really surprised that it doesn’t just open the page in my default browser. Perhaps this is a feature the developer could add in a future release. I actually wanted to submit this feedback as a support request, but the support link lands at a 404, so I’m writing a review instead.

BORKED

I guess there’s no beta testing before updates go live, but this is totally broken. The design is obnoxious with the floating icon you can’t remove (and it’s only on one desktop, so I have to scroll back to the desktop it’s on to open my notes) and the redundant icon in the task bar isn’t doing anything anymore but taking up space. Sometimes it won’t reopen (certainly not by clicking the taskbar icon) until I relaunch the app. Pretty odd design overall, but there should be a better QA process and a small group of testers who could’ve prevented this from going to production in this condition. I’ll give it a few weeks and if there’s no update to address it, I’ll start looking for an alternative.
