Install MDEdit app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MDEdit"
The search will reveal the MDEdit app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MDEdit is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MDEdit.
Now enjoy MDEdit on PC.

This is a demo-only product. You should be able to write in one window and see a live decode in the other, but since this is a demo, you're not allowed to type a single letter. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO TRY IT IF YOU DON'T LET US? Downloading this only allows us to install the app and purchase it; not utilize it in any fashion. Luckily, if you look around, there are many "similar products" to this that are free and identical in the App Store that are not limited in any way. I found one and downloaded it. This is about as useless as you can get.
So "good' it hurts my soul.

I have been using markdown with a variety of apps. I like marked 2 espically because its support for mathjax The developer is quite helpful. I posted my question on the discussion forum. The developer replied me minutes latter.

The recent fix to PDF export was my only outstanding issue. And the developer was responsive to my feedback. Worth every penny.
