Install Brainwave app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Brainwave on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Brainwave"
The search will reveal the Brainwave app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Brainwave is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Brainwave.
Now enjoy Brainwave on PC.

- Mental Note is an outstanding app that keeps getting better and better.

- The app offers a sync to the cloud with Google Docs.

- The app is available on both iPhone and iPad.

☹ Cons:

- Tags do not seem to be part of the Dropbox sync.

- The app does not work at all and crashes frequently.

- The app never even started completely to give itself the opportunity to crash.

- The app has issues with backing up to iCloud and never finishes.

Love Mental Note--This: Not Quite There Yet

Mental Note, made by the same people who made this app--is an outstanding app that keeps getting better and better. this app to me is a cheaper and far less robust version of MN that seems to offer just one big thing lacking in MN, which is a sync to the cloud, in this case with Google Docs. Somewhere down the road, I hope, is an app that combines the best features of both.
Never Starts Up

Save your money. It doesn't work at all. If it ran for a while and crashed occasionally I could live with that for $.99. It never even started completely to give itself the opportunity to crash. De-installed & re-installed several times & got the same results. Don't buy it until they fix it.
Sync with Dropbox

I use the app on iPhone and iPad. Tags do not seem to be part of the Dropbox sync????
Backup goes nowhere

When I try to back up to iCloud, it just keeps saying that it's backing up without ever finishing. Please fix.
