Software Features and Description

1. This program includes many of the features from the desktop version such as conservatism adjustments, extended stops, adjustable last stops, the planning monitor system and extensive control over many other planning features.

2. Also included is a set of dive planning tools for calculating best mix, maximum operating depth (MOD), END, EAD and other planning considerations.

3. MultiDeco presents the VPM and ZHL-16 decompression model and includes VPM-B, VPM-B/E, ZHL model versions and ZHL-16 + GF.

4. It includes planning for bailouts with SCR and OC legs in a CCR plan.

5. Planning methods include both OC and Closed Circuit Rebreather.

6. The diver can specify any combination of nitrox or trimix, and as many deco gases as required.

7. The Mixer utility for blending nitrox and trimix, is included too.

8. A dive decompression calculator for technical scuba divers.

9. Includes details of ppO2, END, and gas consumptions.

Install MultiDeco app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MultiDeco on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MultiDeco"
The search will reveal the MultiDeco app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MultiDeco is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MultiDeco.
Now enjoy MultiDeco on PC.

✔ Pros:

- Ability to plan CCR and OC dives separately

- Includes bailout function

- Useful for calculating and figuring out bailout gases for CCR

- Good for trimix dive planning

☹ Cons:

- Missing the ability to put both CCR and OC legs in the same dive plan

- UI is poorly designed and not formatted for larger screens

- Display options are truncated on some devices

- Needs an overhaul and integration with the desktop app to justify the price

Its missing the ability to put both CCR and OC legs in the same dive plan (this option is available in the full Mac version). This is a very useful function for easily calculating and figuring out bailout gases for CCR. (The included bailout function isn't great). This is functionality that they will hopefully add in the next version. Sticking with the "full size" version for now.

It's the only game in town, but the developer really needs a designer. It's still not formatted for the larger screens and overall the UI is pretty bad. One day someone with similar tech diving knowledge is going to come along with a really good UI and knock HHS off its throne. Lesson: never rest on your laurels. Always keep improving.
Needs an update for iphone8 Plus and ipads

I had written this review when I had iPhone 6 Plus and now using 8 Plus, still have issues with pull down truncating, the app configuration window does not scroll fully on the iPad so I can’t configure those options... I hope you can fix this as it is my go to app for trimix dive planning. Thanks! On the iPhone 6 Plus, some of the display options are truncated, such as Equiv air depth, MOD, if you select Depth pull down, after 99, it shows 1…. making all the following display not readable. It seem that the pull down option area could be widened so you can show 3 digits, this appears in other areas of the app as well like P02 set so anything above 1.0 gets clipped to 1…. The app is very useful and you can still use it, but for an app that is $54.99 I hope that you keep the app up to date. Thanks
Lacking updated UI

This app is an exercise in how long you can put off and delay updating the UI. Needs an overhaul plus integration with the desktop app to be worth this price.
