Great potential
By koparosti (Pcmac user)
Wonderful idea for those of us who need to read and absorb a lot of information from pdf files. The concept of tagging and exporting is great. Export is one-click copy of the filtered list to clipboard for pasting into your preferred system (contrary to previous review I don’t see why you need to make a pdf of items you just extracted from a pdf particularly when you CAN just paste it into any text editor and create a pdf yourself). In addition annotation options/types are good - better than most other apps in this space.
Why only 3 stars? Images captured in box annotations show up in your tagged items but simply disappear when exported. Other apps can capture images and export with no problem (MarginNote 3, Liquidtext) and the images ARE captured to your notes but just disappear when exporting. If you ask why/when that might change the only response is “that is not how this app works”. Sync appears to only be possible via Dropbox - no iCloud. In addition you might note how few updates there have been recently.

Seconded for the Stage Managers!!

This app is amazing for taking Line Notes. The last show I did, all I had to do was set up the app and hand my iPad to an intern, and line notes were a breeze. I’ve also used this to analyze scripts, and it has cut my prep time in half.
The only thing I wish the app did was let you create pdf of all the notes that you tag. (Make it easy to export and print.)

Finally!
By Marcc42 (Pcmac user)
I used to be 'that guy', hauling around a pile of papers because I couldn't see how my iPad could match the experience of making notes by hand (sorry trees).
But, it's time to consume my hat and make sure that radars can detect pigs. I just finished reading and making notes with this app, and it's awesome! You can type notes anywhere you like, highlight, and even draw with a pencil-type tool, which is my own favorite approach for circling crazy ideas and making exclamations.
this app - you have a fan here. Oh, and my bag-shoulder and the trees thank you too!!

Finally, I can find my notes on my PDFs!
By windy_week (Pcmac user)
This is an incredibly useful app. I've been so frustrated that until now there's been no way to search and compile my notes across PDFs. Developer is super-responsive and has already told me that a desktop version is planned :)
