Best pocket SSH client I’ve ever used.
By Zerohana (Pcmac user)
I was a little worried when I saw the low reviews on the App Store page, but also considered that it had a small pool to draw from. That probably skewed the results, so I decided to give it a try. I haven’t experienced the grievances of dropped connection mentioned by other reviewers, and it works on cellular connection for me (using a iPhone 7 A1660 —>Qualcomm modem, in case that factors in—I know there are different models of the iPhone 7 with different radio chips).
Anyway, aside from the technology working without issue for me, this app is easily the best looking out there, and doesn’t spy—*cough*—collect user data behind your back (Prompt 2, get your act together. An ssh client should not send any unsolicited traffic over the network. You lose all trust the moment you do that—especially for a premium $15 app like yours. Disappointing).
I’m so glad I came across this app for testing my remote server, it speaks to my inner geek and actually made some of my work fun. If you need a pocket SSH client, this is the one.

Drops connections too quicky
By Frank Jonen (Pcmac user)
The best looking client but the most finicky one. One moment you’re editing away in nano and out of the blue this app cuts the connection. Other clients I tested didn’t have that issue.

doesnt connect unless on wifi, which is weird for an iphone app.

Best SSH Console
By bcarpe211 (Pcmac user)
Putting the awesome graphics aside, this app does a great job at doing what it was made to do: SSH. I got it because there was bluetooth keyboard support (which worked great with my Logitech M1 keyboard) and because of the graphics. I read some reviews that complained about the graphics making the text hard to read. I didn't have that issue, but that was mostly because I was able to change the effects. You can basically turn off any feature that you don't want, but then that makes it boring, and you'd be better off buying a different app. This one was worth getting though. I loved playing with the features and making my SSH session a lot more fun. PROTIP: It wasn't apparent to me at first since there wasn't any instructions on this, but apparently the text size can be adjusted by pinching the screen. I had a couple applications that required there to be at least 80 columns and the default text was so large that I only had about 70. I emailed the support team and they replied within 5 minutes and told me about the pinch to zoom feature. I would totally buy another application from these guys.
