With an internet connection, you can quickly access how many of each patch were really issued, which organization issued them, and manufacturing details.

2. Boy Scouts of America®, the Universal Emblem, BSA®, are either registered trademarks or trademarks of the Boy Scouts of America in the United States and/or other countries.

3. Official Jamboree Shoulder Patches are required to have a PatchScan code on the back.

4. PatchScan's official launch party is at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree.

5. PatchScan is a project of the Boy Scouts of America's licensing programs.

6. You'll even see a scan of a patch from the same production run so you can verify that the patch in your hand is legit.

Install PatchScan app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using PatchScan on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PatchScan"
The search will reveal the PatchScan app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PatchScan is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PatchScan.
Now enjoy PatchScan on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native PatchScan Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use PatchScan,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "PatchScan" » then Click "Install".
- PatchScan will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Best app for jamboree

I was trading patches with some scouts before jamboree and someone told me about this app. I decided to download it and see what it was like. It was amazing, I just had to scan the back of the patch and it would tell me all about it. I would suggest this app to anyone who is patch trading. This is a must have for jamboree.

This app is very quick for scanning patches and is efficient. It is informative which helps you find out about the patches so you do not get a bad trade. I highly recommend it if you are at Jamboree this year.
