Install Spider Serial Terminal app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

The app does not allow you to copy-paste blocks of commands into the terminal window—a must have if you need to push a large configuration to the device.

Basic Terminal Support

It's a good start. It doesn't do any of the fancy stuff, like support changing colors, or screen redraws in place. It just spits it out and dumps it to the window. Unfortunately, it's not entirely useful for me, as I can't get into host system BIOS, but it might work for some other testing needs.
