Software Features and Description

1. From the creator of BalusterPro comes StairBuilderPro, a unique stair stringer layout tool designed specifically for the iPad.

2. Unlike all the other stair stringer layout guides, there is no need for a framing square, stair gauges or any previous knowledge for building stairs.

3. Check out my other construction related apps....BalusterPro for a baluster spacing calculator & TilePro for a simple tile layout tool.

4. Simply enter your dimensions on the graphical interface and StairBuilderPro will plot all of the points on your board needed for a perfectly cut stringer.

5. For advanced users, a single tap will plot all of the points at once or with the step through method, the app will visually walk you through the entire process one step at a time.

6. The only tools you will need are a pencil, tape measure, straight edge and a saw! Works in both imperial and metric measurements.

Download and install the StairBuilderPro app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using StairBuilderPro on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "StairBuilderPro"
The search will reveal the StairBuilderPro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once StairBuilderPro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including StairBuilderPro.
Now enjoy StairBuilderPro on PC.

Using StairBuilderPro on Mac OS:
Install StairBuilderPro on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.

To get StairBuilderPro on Windows 11, check if there's a native StairBuilderPro Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing StairBuilderPro:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "StairBuilderPro" » Click "Install" to install StairBuilderPro
- StairBuilderPro will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Great all the way.
Disappointed

I am totally disappointed with this app. Once I completed the input and got the layout printout, I proceeded to layout the 2x12. When I got to the end of the board the last riser was way out of wack. I then went back to check all the treads and risers, and noticed the treads were not equal in measurements. Some were 11 1/2 and some were 12 1/2 and one was 11". Soooo, I went back to the old tried and true method of figuring it out myself. My way the stairs came out perfect.... Glad I only wasted 4.99 on this app.

Carpenters rejoice!

I was impressed by the first app from this developer, BalusterPro, but this one really knocked my socks off. What really makes this tool special is it's use of visuals to guide you through the process one step at a time. You begin by selecting the type of staircase and entering your parameters. What you get is a beautiful layout view complete with animations showing exactly where to mark and cut your board. Magic. If you build staircases of any kind this tool will save you time and help avoid costly mistakes - an absolute must have for carpenters of any skill level.
