Install Shade app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Shade on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Shade"
- The search will reveal the Shade app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Shade is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Shade.
- Now enjoy Shade on PC.

Excellent app I love it very much and dies what it said. but I have one thing if you coud do! kindly if you could remove the instruction at the begining. Each time I open the application it should the instruction pop window.

Lacks some features

This is a really nice, minimalist app that does what it says. Great for screen recordings, which is why I bought it. Slick animation, cool drag/drop feature for selecting an image.
I do wish that the chosen background would stay in place in Mission Control, or when using commands like “Show Desktop” to push away all the windows with the trackpad. I have to be careful not to do these things when recording my screen.
Seems overpriced for what it does, especially considering that it doesn’t work in Mission Control or with multiple monitors. I don’t mind paying for good software, but $10 is more than I’ve paid for much more complicated tools.
