WebDisk functions

1. Website access file: You can upload/download files to your iPhone/iPad on your PC browser over Wi-Fi. It supports large files of more than 100MB.

2. Support files exchange between two devices on Wi-Fi.

3. WebDisk+ for PC: WebDisk+ is a PC client that allows you to easily view or download your documents.

4. Document direct view: WebDisk lets you directly view your documents on your iPhone/iPad. It can display iWork documents, Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Rich Text Format (RTF) documents, PDF files, images, text files (txt), and comma-separated value (csv) files.

5. Instructions for uploading files to iPad/iPhone: Start the app, ensure "enable web access" is enabled, enter the URL displayed on the app to your PC browser, and then upload or download files to your iPad/iPhone via the web page.

6. WebDisk+ on your PC: Go to http://www.airphotohd.com/webdisk.html to download and install WebDisk+ on your computer, start the WebDisk+, tap File Folders and select the file folders you want to access, ensure that your mobile device and your computer are on the same Wi-Fi network, and it supports iOS7.

Confused How-To-Use

The primary drawback to using this app is how often it crashes. Every other time I tried to open the folder I created for sharing on my iPad the app crashed. I re-opened the app again and tried to open the folder again and it opened the image. There is no help dialog or instructional video on how to use this app and it can be daunting. Here is some instruction that I discovered by trial and order....In order to transfer files from your PC to your iPad you need to install AirServer(AirServer+) 5.2.5, then, on your PC, start AirServer, choose the Files Tab, and select a file or folder that is on your PC that you wish to share to your iPad. On your iPad you need to open this app, enter a Password first to be on the safe side, tap the + sign and Select Create a folder, then on your PC click the ONLINE tab on AirServer. Your default browser will open and the AirServer Airfinder page will be displayed. On this page are a list of various AirServers other people have running around the world at this time. You will find your PC on this page listed under its AirServer name (To find that name install AirPhotos from AppStore and you will see on the start page your PC’s name and it’s AirServer name). Confused yet? If you’re still interested, Good for you. But at this point I’m done. Don’t worry. You’re just a couple of steps from sending one file to your iPad from your PC. I think the trouble involved to use this app is not time effective. And the fact that it crashes every other time you use it makes it very annoying to begin with. It’s easier to use sync, upload to iCloud or upload to the cloud of your choice.

The dev of this app talks of massive file support for transfer yet you cant even import/export video recorded from the device. Good idea but poorly placed.
