Install ClipboardPlain app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ClipboardPlain"
The search will reveal the ClipboardPlain app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ClipboardPlain is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ClipboardPlain.
Now enjoy ClipboardPlain on PC.

invisible icon with dark menubar

At first i thought this app did would not even launch on El Capitan, then I noticed an odd space in menubar and clicking on the seemingly empty space openend the menubar menu for the app and the app icon in the menu bar became barely visible. I have my menubar set to the dark theme so it is nearly black and the icon for this app is the same color as the menubar. When the app icon is cllicked on it turns a gray that is slightly lghter than the menubar color when in the dark theme. The app does what it says it does and this is good but it really needs to be updated to support El Capitan’s dark menu bar option. If this is fiixed, I will change my rating but considering the app has not been updated in over two years I suspect this app has been abandoned.

I will always give 5 stars to an app that does what it says it would. I hate having to paste text and it keeps the formatting of its host. Then you have to jump over hurdles to change it!
