  • Excellent

    By Defrilitus (Pcmac user)

If you're comfortable with AppleScripts, you'll love this. It took me a while to get into it; but, once I did, I found that the sky is the limit. My favorite is when it sleeps my Mac 30 seconds after I leave and turns it on 5 seconds after I get back (iPhone monitoring via Bluetooth). But it does much, much more: secripts when the screen sleeps and when it wakes up are great, for example. It's a great addition to your toolbox!
  • So glad it’s back!

This is easily the best app for automating your computer. So flexible, and easy to use.
  • Does not work as advertized, no support

By anon was taken (Pcmac user)

I tried to set this up to run an applescript when unlocking my computer. It never runs the script. I sent an e-mail to the support address, and no reply. Apparently, if you buy an app that doesn’t do what is promised, Apple directs you to the developer’s support, and does not offer a refund. I guess I should write a garbage app, advertize taht it does fantastical things, while in reality it does nothing. Don’t get scammed by Apple & David Blishen!
  • Very handy

I keep my iTunes and iPhoto data on external disks and have had far too many occasions where I've been told off by OSX for turning off the drive before unmounting it, or had to quit and re-launch the apps because I've forgotten to turn the disk on. Now I have a couple of short AppleScripts, one to launch the app when the disk appears and one to eject the disk when I quit the app, that should hopefully keep the Lion happy. I have plans for the sleep/wake events too but my AppleScripting isn't quite up to scratch (yet).
