Excellent product and value
By an American Musician (Pcmac user)
Iāve been playing around with the free version of this app with some lightbars and a DMX King Micro. The pro app works exactly the same, just with more channels, scenes, etc. The one thing that doesnāt seem to work is entering descriptions in the Patch Bay. Not a big deal at all - this doesnāt have anything to do with the functionality of app.
If youāre looking for a āwhat you see is what you getā app with reliablity at an EXCELLENT cost (look around - this kind of software gets REAL expensive), this is for you!

Do you need a DMX controller? BUY THIS.
By Kman987 (Pcmac user)
This is one of the most amazing pieces of software I have ever used. I am actually taking the time to write a review, and trust me. I NEVER do that.
It is so easy to set up. You plug in a dmx converter (In my case this is the Enttec Open DMX USB converter, Which I highly reccomend.) I pluged in my DMX cable, started the software and viola. I have full control of the lighting setup in any DMX situation wether it be a stage setting, DJ, etc.
Very easy to use. Control the channels and when you have them the way you want them, right click a pre-set slider and press "set from channels". Then you have your pre-set. It is really really easy and a blast to use. The developer should be really proud of himself. I had the free version and after 10 minutes of using it I bought the Pro version. A $32.99 I would spend again without hesitation.
Thank you for such a wonderful product. Keep it up!

super easy
By fudurich (Pcmac user)
you can make a simple and easy to use lighting desk with a midi controller and this software. had a few hiccups getting going but their tech support was top notch. this is great for getting into a venue and being able to set up quick looks and cues!

Locks Up Constantly
By Gateway Technology Services (Pcmac user)
This version is horrible. The features are fantastic, but it locks up all the time. I have to either kill all MIDI software, or reset the MIDI subsystem, or restart the computer. What a pain in the butt.
When it works, I love it, but it's just not stable. I don't have a HUGE setup, in fact only a KORG nanoKontrol and Ableton Live. I'm using the Entec OpenDMX USB, which is supported.
Their support 'website' is two tips, not very helpful, and I've recieved NO responses to the several emails I've sent.
