Software Features and Description

1. iOS device must be networked to a computer running the latest version of Universal Control that is connected and synced to a StudioLive-series mixer via a FireWire 400 connection.

2. Conversely, multiple iPhones and iPod touches running QMix can simultaneously control the same StudioLive mixer and you still have Virtual StudioLive (VSL), SL Remote, and hardware control.

3. QMix requires a Mac® or Windows® PC running the latest version of Universal Control (which includes VSL) and a StudioLive-series mixer.

4. VSL must be launched in order for QMix to detect a StudioLive mixer on the network.

5. With PreSonus QMix™, up to ten musicians can simultaneously control their StudioLive™ monitor (aux) mixes using an iPhone® or iPod touch®.

6. Adjust each channel’s send level individually or use QMix’s Wheel of Me to control the relative levels of multiple “Me” channels at once.

7. QMix can connect to any StudioLive mixer over a wireless network.

8. The computer and mixer must be connected and synced via FireWire 400.

9. Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch.

10. Requires iOS 8.0 or later.

Install PreSonus QMix app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using PreSonus QMix on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PreSonus QMix"
The search will reveal the PreSonus QMix app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PreSonus QMix is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PreSonus QMix.
Now enjoy PreSonus QMix on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use PreSonus QMix,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "PreSonus QMix" » then Click "Install".
- PreSonus QMix will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Update non-functional

Since updating my device does not show up on computer to be assigned and I can't adjust any mix even though it says it's connected. The display doesn't fill the entire screen either and seems slightly out of focus. the app you guys are great and I know you're working on the issue. Thanks for supporting such an old product!
Broken!!

For years this has been stable system for our church. Using SL -remote and Q mix is essential as we often do not have a dedicated sound person. This update has ruined everything, I've gone through all the steps mentioned on the the app site. Updated UC to 1.7.5.5 completely removed all the app software and re-installed. Reinstalled the apps...nothing works. I'm locked out of the SL-Remote and Q-mix even though the connection is there, no device is shown on the Remote Devices: in setup within Studiolive
It works again!!

Very frustrating with it not working for these new updates. but you have to update the universal control software on your computer then it will recognize your devices.
Poor update choice

Forcing the control terminal to update along with everyone else was a poor choice. Our sound board computer will not support the update, and now I, along with several others, are unable to connect. This makes it very difficult, and it makes the system useless. Please re-release the old version in a separate application for users like us who are unable to update the terminal. Until then, a 1 star review will remain.
