Install PDFExplode app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PDFExplode"
The search will reveal the PDFExplode app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PDFExplode is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PDFExplode.
Now enjoy PDFExplode on PC.

Only works with a TOC

I guess I read the review wrong. I didn't realize I HAD to have a TOC to use this. Glad I didn't spend a fortune. Can't rate it any higher because of this. Just make sure that you understand what your buying.
Outstanding and Simple to Use, yet Powerful!

What a great little program! I have some HUGE vehicle factory service manuals and one file alone representing just one section is over 125 Mb and over 1000 pages! I've been adding outlines using the PDFOutliner app and then syncing the file through Dropbox to my iPad. After saving the changes to the file it would take forever to resync over my slow DSL connection. I used this handy app to quickly split these large files into much smaller more "syncable" files of the individual chapters. I found thsi app really easy to use and it worked perfectly on the very first try. It doesn't alter the original file in any way, nor does it increase the overall net size of the split files when added together. One of my favorite features of this app is it can automatically add a prefix (such as "Ch 1" or "File 1" etc.) to each individual split file. That's a perfect solution for keeping the file names in their proper order within a folder.
