  • What I've been looking for

    By OneBadFrog (Pcmac user)

I have a mostly wired network in my house, but when I take my laptop off my desk I like the fact that don't have to worry about turning on my airport card and then off again when I reconnect it later. The only CON that I have for it, is the speed at which it changes over between networks interfaces. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds for the switch. Not bad. It also took me a little bit to figure out the settings to use for me because the only tech manual on the developers web site was for the windows version only (This probably will change in the future) and didn't say anything about what the setting do. I use the "Disable Wireless if wired is connected" as it turns off my airport card when I'm connected to my wired network and then on when I disconnect from it.
  • Good Start, Needs Some Work

    By LinuxFerret (Pcmac user)

The program's setting for auto start at login refuses to work on my MacBook Pro. Had to insert it into the Login Items manually. The program only works part of the time, but when it works, it is great. The program does not hide itself, but rather is in the dock, menu bar, and in program switchers (Cmd-Tab). I would want it only in the menu bar.
  • Can’t turn wireless back on

    By Matt Locke (Pcmac user)

At first, this seemed to be a great soultion for reducing the amount of IP’s reserved from our DHCP pool. But then reports rolled in that users had to reboot and disable the app to use airport with Ethernet unplugged. I’ve exchange one pain for another. M
  • Get rid of the ugly menu bar icon

    By NVIDIOT (Pcmac user)

    1. Great utility but the menu bar icon is really big and really ugly. 2. Get rid of the dock icon. It is not needed—especially if you have a menu bar item already. Both of these can be addressed in a much better Preferences chooser. For now I'm going to hit it up with Dock Dodger to eliminate the dock icon. Hopefully this won't disable the automatic updates in the App Store.
