Software Features and Description

1. Lectrosonics® SM transmitters must be configured to accept remote control tones.

2. *Not all remote control tones are supported by every Lectronsonics device.

3. The original SM requires firmware version 1.5 (released 12/05) to respond to the remote.

4. Any tones properly received but not supported will be met with "---------" response on the transmitter screen.

5. The firmware version number appears upon turning on the unit.

6. Hold down arrow while turning on the transmitter.

Install LectroRM app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using LectroRM on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "LectroRM"
The search will reveal the LectroRM app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once LectroRM is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including LectroRM.
Now enjoy LectroRM on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native LectroRM Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use LectroRM,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "LectroRM" » then Click "Install".
- LectroRM will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

One of my clients used this to adjust mic sensitivity and lock the transmitters. I saw how well it works and bought my own copy immediately. This app saves a bunch of time trying to adjust with those little buttons, especially since you have to hold them for several seconds in some cases. The best part for me is putting the transmitters to sleep without having to dislodge it from it's hiding place on the talent. I can save my batteries without taking off the whole leg strap contraption I spent ten minutes constructing. Oh, and when people see you point your phone at the talent's chest to adjust their mic, they say things like "robocop" and "captain Picard". Do with that what you will. I think they're impressed? Maybe they're making fun. Either way, this app is still the best!

I had this idea after working on a feature where we wired 12+ actors every day. I had access to a real RM. I recorded the sounds onto the voice-memo app. I talked to several amateur developers about building this app, and came to the conclusion that this app would not be legal to sell w/o the support of Lectrosonics®. Guess I was wrong! Good job, and I have some ideas that would make this app even better. Buy this app! Can't wait til my thousand dollar idea... Maybe I'll quit the biz

Since I can't convince all my mixer bosses to fork out the dough for the RM, this app is a LIFESAVER!!! Just downloaded it and used it several times today already. Thank you for putting this out there! Totally worth every penny
