vloop Pro for Pc

I was searching online for a way to play a video as an infinite loop on the iPad. This was a Friday afternoon and I needed it for a surprise 75th birthday party for my husband on Sunday. I finally came upon a conversation in which Lucas Jordan (founder of ClayWare Games) described the the app app he had created for that purpose. I downloaded the app and within ten minutes at most was able to have my video loop repeatedly. I ran into trouble when the sound did not come through and I emailed Lucas. He responded within an hour (!) with an answer that set me on the right track and I very quickly had both visual and sound. The party was a great success and the looping video was a hit. On another note, although the app itself is free, I had to bring the video into the app from Dropbox, which cost $1.99 (There is no cost if you work through iTunes.) Some people see this additional cost as a negative, and it might indeed be an issue if one had many videos in Dropbox and had to pay for each one brought into the app, but for me in my predicament, the app was a lifesaver at a price below the cost of a large cup of coffee at Starbucks. It might be a good idea, though, to indicate in the Details that there is an additional cost when importing a video from Dropbox.

The app works fine when the content is downloaded via ITunes. But when I try to access content via Dropbox (another $1.99) it shows "loading..." forever for a short (3 minute) video that plays fine in Dropbox.

Hi Jason, I do hope you're going to listen to your customers when practically all of them are telling you to change your pricing structure. It's pretty lousy business practice to entice someone into a free app only to force them to purchase something inside of it just to be able to use the app at all. Giving limited functionality for free is one thing - but I just downloaded this app and all I could play was some advertisement. Sure, I could,load my video into the player, but it won't play it. FYI, I'd be happy to pay a buck or two for full features, but I am so disgusted with your deception, that you have lost a potential customer. Hopefully you'll respond to the market.

I think the app is a good app to use for replaying videos without having to hit the play button each time. I had one problem though, and that was using the app on my phone. It works just fine on an iPad or tablet, but everything zooms in when I use my phone. I can’t press certain things in order to make a video and it makes the app so much more difficult to use. Aside from that, I think the app is helpful and I’d recommend it.
