What is SatFinder? SatFinder is an app that helps you adjust your satellite antenna quickly and easily. It offers four simple steps to align your antenna and optimize your satellite reception. The app allows you to choose your antenna type, select a suitable satellite, check for obstacles, adjust your antenna, and fine-tune your reception if necessary. The app is available only on iOS devices with LiDAR sensor.
1. Tip: Press the wizard button to measure the size of the satellite antenna using the iPhone camera and LiDAR scanner.
2. Simply place an iPhone in front of your reception screen and observe changes in picture quality while slightly rotating or tilting your satellite antenna.
3. If your antenna has a special shape, enter the offset angle and the size of the satellite antenna.
4. You can find the offset angle in the manual of your satellite antenna.
5. For a smooth satellite reception, there must not be any obstacles between the satellite and your satellite antenna.
6. Before you press the "Start" button, a video clip shows how to position your iPhone at the antenna.
7. With the button "Channel Info" you can check which channels the selected satellite is currently broadcasting - including all channel parameters for your satellite receiver.
8. Faster is the search function - just enter the name of the satellite, the channel or the orbit position.
9. To quickly and easily select a suitable satellite, simply press the "AUTO" button.
10. If you want to receive a special satellite, switch off "AUTO": Now you can simply scroll through the table and select the satellite.
11. The SatFinder will now automatically search for satellites that are in your reception area and that offer TV or radio stations in your language (the language setting of your iPhone will be selected).

- Choose from four different antenna designs: offset antennas, special design antennas, parabolic antennas, and flat or planar antennas.
- Enter the height, width, offset angle, or diameter of your antenna depending on its type.
- Use the wizard button to measure the size of your satellite antenna using the iPhone camera and LiDAR scanner.
- Press the "AUTO" button to automatically search for satellites that offer TV or radio stations in your language.
- Scroll through the table and select the satellite you want to receive.
- Use the search function to find a specific satellite, channel, or orbit position.
- Hide satellites that are not available at your location or do not broadcast in your language.
- Check for obstacles between the satellite and your antenna using the "View" function.
- Adjust the azimuth and elevation separately for offset antennas, or together for planar or parabolic antennas.
- Watch a video clip that shows how to position your iPhone at the antenna before pressing the "Start" button.
- Use the FineTuning feature to optimize your reception with a second iOS device.
