1. SynoDS is an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad native client for Synology's Download Station (aka Download Redirector) and for the Synology File Station.

2. - add some download tasks on your Synology server while you're away (on holidays, at work ...) and when you'll be back at home, the files will be available on your server ! It will allow you to add any download task to your Synology device.

3. - Integrated File Browser to move/copy/delete/extract files and folders (long tap on folders for options).

Install SynoDS app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SynoDS on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SynoDS"
The search will reveal the SynoDS app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SynoDS is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SynoDS.
Now enjoy SynoDS on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SynoDS,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SynoDS" » then Click "Install".
- SynoDS will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works flawlessly and the developer is responsive

I sent an email requesting a change to an already decent program and he immediately sent me an invite to the beta on test flight. Lo and behold, he's already been working on the feature and is working perfectly in the beta. This app rocks and is the perfect alternative to Synology's failed "DS get." Great app!

I haven't been able to use this app for at least a year. I have been getting by on Synology Ds get (free app), which was previously called Ds download, but I loved the graphical user interface and the ability to easily connect to multiple servers on this app. Unfortunately, it no longer works; I can not connect to any of my servers. The search feature stays in a constant loop, with no results in return. I don't have this problem with Ds get. But remember, this app is paid for with no support from the vender; I have already contacted him.
Great way to manage my little server

I use this app to manage torrents. Keeps my PC from being on all the time and I can search for them in-app. Click the magnet link and BAM! It's added to the cue. My syno409slim uses only 19 watts of power and I'd rather have that running all the time than my Gaming rig or MAC. LOVE THIS APP!!!
