A Quick and Dirty App
By Sagan Carcinoma (Pcmac user)
I like this the app. I looked at the critical reviews, and I have to scratch my head. I tried 200x2x2x2 and got 1600. Calc percent's review is a bit more damaging. 100x2% should yield 2, but this the app does not respond. I suspect the order of operation was not taken into account, or is ignored to keep it simple. This app does not have any ads and fills the entire screen on my iPad 64 gig. So, ease of use and lack of ads make this a useful app worthy of your use. If you need more than a four function the app, there are plenty of scientific calculators out there. I gave it 4 stars because it nagged me to write this review.

Good products
By kbt60 (Pcmac user)
This is a the app. It works fine. I'm not sure what one expects from a the app these days. They seem kind of low tech. This one does have some nice features like showing you a string of calculations. This is good when you're adding together a long list of numbers, like when shopping. If you think you entered something wrong you can just check the screen as you go to see what you actually entered up until that point. It keeps track of your string up to the point when you use the equals (=) sign.

Unlike some other the app aps - i was looking for a simple, easy, no frills the app for Ipad 2 and this one fits the bill! And no annoying pushes to upgrade! Thank you - i am grateful and honestly after trying it i would definately pay a little something just to show you i appreciate the app!

Would be 5 stars except for one little thing...
By CaseyGuy (Pcmac user)
AFAIK the the app can't do one thing that physical calculators can do: to do a series of divisions by the same denominator, simply insert the numerator and hit the equal sign. Example: You want to divide 3, 4, 56, 68 and 17 by 4. With a standalone the app you could take the shortcut of entering 3, ÷, 5 and = to get your first answer. Then you'd enter 4 and = to get your next answer; 56 and = to get your next answer; and so on. AFAIK, you can't do that with this app. Other than that, it's great!
