Install TotalConnect app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using TotalConnect on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TotalConnect"
The search will reveal the TotalConnect app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once TotalConnect is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TotalConnect.
Now enjoy TotalConnect on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use TotalConnect,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "TotalConnect" » then Click "Install".
- TotalConnect will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works reasonably well, but...

The app functions as described. (at least for the basic functions). I have one minor and one major issue. Minor-it takes two separate 4-digit codes to log on. What is this? Amateur night for programmers? Major-It takes 30 seconds, on average, just to connect; some times much longer, and on occasion it just times-out. Once connected, the response time is good, 1 to 2 seconds or so. The bottom line is that the app seems to work reasonably well; however, the computer systems servicing the internet connection needs to be updated.

Used this app for a couple years and while it was slow it usually worked until I lost my phone and now it doesn't and I've tried it on multiple iPhones. My wife's iPhone still works but nothing I've tried works. I've reset my mobile account on the web and no luck, everything loads fine just will not relay arm and disarm functions. Honeywell tech support is useless as they don't respond to an emails. Had the alarm company out who set up the system and they didn't have any suggestions except to try and sell us the upgrade to 2.0. While I might do that I have no reassurance the performance will be better and more reliable. Seriously Honeywell, you basically abandoned thus app and there are a lot of users having issues that need to be addressed.

I was initially very hesitant to try the Honeywell this app system because it required me to make a 3 year contract commitment on the system, and with so many of the app reviews saying this app either doesn't work at all, or is painfully slow, I just didn't know who to trust. My salesperson assured me that she sells multiple systems each week with no complaints at all. I decided to try it and I'm very happy. Although the this app app takes between 20 and 50 seconds to initially connect with the system, once it is connected, it works instantly and flawlessly for me.

I can't speak highly enough about Honeywell's effort to constantly innovate and keep up with the digital era. The Total Connect series of apps is just one example of many. Have no issues getting customers connected, customers have no issues using the Total Connect features. Email & text msg notifications are great additions to being able to arm/disarm your security system. Being able to control lighting with Total Connect is also an inexpensive way over other whole home lighting control. 5 Stars.
