Install iStrelok app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iStrelok on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iStrelok"
The search will reveal the iStrelok app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iStrelok is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iStrelok.
Now enjoy iStrelok on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use iStrelok,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iStrelok" » then Click "Install".
- iStrelok will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Simple and accurate with lots of features to customize ammunition, targets, and compensate for differing environmental conditions

- Developer is very responsive to requests for adding new reticles

- Excellent ballistic program with a vast array of ammunition and scopes

- Provides both ballistic table and visual reference of the actual reticle of most scopes

- Architecture of the app is great

☹ Cons:

- May not work well for super long range bench rest shooters

- Failed to calculate properly for a .223 Federal Fusion 62 gr. compared to some name brand site calculators

- Does not give the user the option to choose what outputs they want to see, which can clutter up the display and leave room for mistakes.

Great ballistics program and a responsive software developer

Love the app and use it all the time for hunting. Simple and accurate with lots of features to customize ammunition, targets, and compensates for differing environmental conditions from zeroing conditions. The developer is very responsive to my requests for adding new reticles. I don’t know how well this will work for super long range bench rest shooters but it is a great tool for all of your practical hunting and sighting needs.
Ballistic AE better

This is an ok app, and it does work as advertised. That said, I’ve contacted Igor several times to inquire about giving the user the option to choose what outputs the user wants to see. I personally use MRAD only, and do not want to see the values for MOA or clicks - this just clutters up things showing useless data. Also leaves room for mistakes. For a couple of years I’ve been told that he would look into it and update the app - this is just lip service. Ballistic AE is a better app and only outputs the data you want.
Lots of potential

The architecture of this app is great. However, I compared results of various load and calibers to some name brand site calculators. When it came to a .223 Federal Fusion 62 gr., it failed to calculate properly. I compared it to Federal and Winchester calculators and it was wrong. Federal and Winchester was almost identical. Anyone would love a cartridge like this app shows. I email the developer more than once and sent him the data. He said he found no problem.

Excellent ballistic program. A vast array of ammunition and scopes plus all the details like altitude, temp and pressure effects (both when zero was established and at the time of the shot). Very accurate, providing both ballistic table as well as visual reference of the actual reticle of most scopes. Simply the best.
