Install dBMeter Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using dBMeter Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "dBMeter Pro"
The search will reveal the dBMeter Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once dBMeter Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including dBMeter Pro.
Now enjoy dBMeter Pro on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use dBMeter Pro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "dBMeter Pro" » then Click "Install".
- dBMeter Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

love it but it has limitations

I am a sound engineer, the only problem is that this program peaks at 103 db and does not give me an any idea of what is above the spectrum over 103, if your program shows 120 and tells you what kind of hearing damage can occur at ranges over 103, you might want to allow the program to go higher so that the users can get a good estimate of the sound spectrum over the 103 peak other than that, Its quite acurate, but there are times where I cant bring out a $1000 DB meter every time when i need a quick measure on the fly! Especially when I have County Zoning coming by for a suprize visit!! This program also falls into reasonable DB meter under most County ordinances as an acceptable device and suprizingly accurate!!1 Cudos to the designer but PLEASE ALLOW THE PEAK ABOVE 103!!!!

Just bought the new iPhone 5s and migrated the app from my older phone. The app crashed on my new phone, i wrote an email to the company, had a response within 24 hours, follow on email a few days later letting me know the update was submitted, and i just updated my phone which now works perfectly.
Great App except...

I like this app especially the ability to record sound for up to 12 hours. I don't believe any other "dB meter" apps do this. The problem is that the recording graph is viewed in the landscape mode and when turning the phone into the portrait mode, it shows half the graph and then goes back to the home screen view which is shown only half screen. You have to close the app, then relaunch it in order to get the full screen, portrait view.
Worthy db meter

Plenty db meter apps around, some cheaper & some more costly. Only this one gets my nod - email numerical results, plot graph, live referene listing for comparing, stylish classic or modern interface, easy to use, can be calibrated and a accurate within 5 db on my 3GS. Nice app! Kudos to maker.
