Good vibrations!
By memobug (Pcmac user)
This clever app plots vibrations on a faux chart recorder. With a little imagination, one can come up with any number of uses, like comparing the ride quality of new cars, positioning your subwoofer, looking for resonant points in structures like bridges, etc, or maybe seeing which grip or posture is the most stable for shooting; photos, guns or arrows.
Adding a feature to set alarm points, one could make an earthquake alert or theft alarm.
I'd love to see dual recorders for x,y with different colored ink. Some averaging and integrating functions to calculate energy would be great, as well as adding history and reset options. How about being able to select logarithm paper instead of this quadrille?
Note to past reviewers: giving this free app a low score isn't appropriate if the
limitation is your own creativity!

No way to get data out of the app
By Ke6vrk (Pcmac user)
If you have a lot of data the app will just crash- totally useless. We had an earthquake in Los Angeles about an hour ago, and I wanted to show off this app, but it only crashes when you try to look at a history file that recorded for only 13 hours. It won’t email or send to documents which does nothing. I tried accessing the data from my MacBook Pro using an iPhone backup program, and the app no longer will allow access to its folders. Wish I could see the data.
If the developer wants to reach me feel free to email me. I like the display screen but too bad it didn’t perform when I needed it to.

Very poor implementation.
By haey (Pcmac user)
I know there are only two other reviews that give high praise, but one must be from the developer. This this app only displays one axis at a time…. a bit useless if you a trying to record all 3 or even just two for that matter. The streaming feature SEEMS to work well…. except it only displays the Z axis even if you select the Y or X axis. It will ONLY stream the Z axis. Since earthquakes and other shaking rarely occur on a single axis, and most are rarely on the Z axis (up/down), this is completely useless.
Allow displaying/recording of multiple axis, and allow the stream to display ANY other axis besides the Z axis, and it will be a GREAT app.

Best ap
By Nel Zelpher (Pcmac user)
This ap is great for apartment vibration. The bezel filter is perfect for detecting floor vibration, and the ability to save and export vibration recording is perfect for proving to apartment staff that something should be done.
Gentlemen. Apple has declared that this app needs to be updated. I really like the app and request that steps be taken to modernize it so we can all continue to use it.
