Half of a picture

I am desperately trying to find a way to transfer photos and video from my google pixel 2xl to my mac book pro because for some reason my mac wont receive anything when I have them connected by cable (lots of people are having this problem). I downloaded this app in hopes of just transering them wirelessly but when i sent a "test" video and picture over, only half the picture is of quality and the other half looks like a digital rainbow, and the video didnt even transfer because it timed out.

I can hardly believe it.
What a relief to be able to access the files on my Android using a Mac, after two years free of iphone and stuck filtering through conniving garbage.
Most apps try to hide their cost and rob you of 20 min until you find out. I will not pay to support that it's crazy.
I installed the app on both devices, initiated a multiple gig, multiple file transfer and....

Works perfect and very fast, was able to transfer 24 images (7mb per image) from my Galaxy 10 to my MacBook pro in less than 10 seconds.

It does the job

I just downloaded this app to transfer video and image files from my Android device to a Macbook Pro, and it works very well. My only complaint is with the transfer speed. There were two larger video files I was transfering - one just over 920 MB and the other just over 939 MB. And it took about five minutes to transfer the two files. But, at no cost, I'd recommend it!
