4. In the past you would have the browser open pointing to an OctoPi / OctoPrint session.

5. The minute you click on a link in an email the standard browser operation opens up a new tab in the browser that's monitoring your print session.

6. Now you have to flip back and forth on browser tabs messing until you find your printer session.

7. Another problem is bringing the OctoPi / OctoPrint session to the front.

8. OctoShell solves this by keeping your session on the SpringBoard as a standalone app.

9. This creates a separate icon on the SpringBoard and frees up your browser for other things.

Install OctoShell app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "OctoShell"
The search will reveal the OctoShell app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once OctoShell is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including OctoShell.
Now enjoy OctoShell on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use OctoShell,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "OctoShell" » then Click "Install".
- OctoShell will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
