Doesn't work

In used to have Keyboard Cleaner, which was great. It would put the screen to sleep also, so I could clean that. This app locks a couple of keys here and there, but when I start cleaning the keyboard, everything opens up. No, I'm not hitting Command-Q, which is supposed to be what you do to unlock the keyboard. Too bad.

Like, why?
I have a lil kitty that deletes my work files when she walks on the keyboard and I'd LOVE to have this app, but this does literally nothing. Probably logged in to hack my life or something, because I can't imagine why else this app exists? Is it just me??

I have been scouring the net trying to find a way to lock out my keyboard and mouse on cue.
I have some active cats that love lying on my keyboard, this often effecting my ongoing workflow.
Finally I can simply open this app and lock out my keyboard and mouse function.

Doesn't work - simply it doesn't block access to the keyboard. Everything still works. What doesn't work so well when the program is open is the trackpad.
